If you took part in the Newbies Surprise Contest that @projectmamabg held a few days ago, you may have seen that she was so kind as to tip $LUV and $PIZZA tokens to people who left comments under the post. If you look closer, she also mined hivebits' $HBITS token for her own self.
We frequently see these in the comments on people's posts, and many of us have also received them from others. So I think this isn't the first time we've seen such tips and gifts on Hive.
Even yet, a lot of us are clueless about what they are, how to mine or how to tip others. We also question if they are actually valuable and could be sold or bought with Hive.
In this article, we'll go over ten Hive tipping and mining tokens that everyone should be familiar with. We'll also include key links that will explain how to use Hive-engine or Beeswap.dcity to convert or swap these tokens.
Bear these in mind:
- Tipping tokens refers to the act of sharing tokens with or gifting to others,
- Mining tokens refers to the act of generating new tokens for oneself or others,
- Some of these tokens could either be tipped to others or mined for oneself/others,
- Some of these tokens could be tipped and mined at the same time,
☆ LUVshares
LUVshares was developed by @luvshares with the intention of fostering love on the Hive blockchain. especially for single people
It allows you to spread love to any Hive user by replying their post or comment with one of the LUV commands !LUV or !luv or !Luv or !love which triggers the LUVbot to share some LUV.

Pizza was introduced to Hive by @thebeardflex with the intention of encouraging users to share PIZZA with their friends as a fun engagement and reward token.
Every time we make the command !PIZZA the pizza delivery bot is activated, and it sends out free slices of $PIZZA from the $PIZZA reward pool.
$PIZZA can be earned by using the #hivepizza tag in your creative post, participating in the engagement tasks in the Pizza discord server and purchasing $PIZZA on Hive Decentralized Exchanges (Hive-engine, Tribaldex and Leodex).

The LOH token (Lady of Hive) is a reward token created and owned by the Ladies of Hive Community @hive-124452.
The lady bot is activated whenever a LOH token holder issues the command !Lady which tips the author of the post or comment the command is being issued under. Additionally, the token holder who issues the command also get the same amount of LOH token: hence, it is a give/receive or win/win command.

Whenever holders of the LOLZ token issue out the !LOL or !LOLZ command in a comment or post of an author, the LOLZbot shares a clean joke and tips the author a freshly mined LOLZ token.

$CTP is a tribal and reward token for the CTP Swarm; a community that exposes you to online earning, affiliate marketing and other online entrepreneurial skills.
Whenever holders of the $CTP token issue out the !CTP command, it triggers the @ctptips bot to issue out reward tokens to authors whose post the command was made under.
Unlike other tipping tokens, the $CTP goes directly to the authors wallet without any mention in the comment section.

The $HIVEBITS token is a blend of Hive's blockchain with the ethos of Bitcoin.
It requires that you use one of the commands !hivebits or !HBIT or !hbit or $HBIT or !WUSANG or !wusang as a comment/reply to one of your own posts.

- You can use it only one time per day
- You don't need to have a staked
$HBITbefore you can use it - Don't include another command along with it
- You will receive 1.0

The $PGM (Play Gamer) token was a project created by @zottone444 to bring video gamers together with Hive.
Every time $PGM token holders use the !PGM command, the @pgm-curator is triggered and it sends out several tokens to both the author and the holder.
The $PGM token can also be earned by using the #pgm tag in your posts related to games.

The Tipping feature is primarily for the members of the Alive Tribe who have staked their Alive tokens. When they use the !Alive command, the @youarealive tipping bot sends 0.1 Alive tokens which is paid for by the earnings on @alive.chat.
