My phone does not have an App Freezer

Hello everyone!
I hope you're having a nice week🙌!

In one of my posts in this Digital Lifestyle Community, I mentioned how my phone lacks the app freezing feature, which I think is a common feature in most phones. I remember when I first found out that my phone, the Redmi Note 12S, does not have an app freezer—it was unbelievable to me. I went on to ask two people I know who have the same phone, and I found out that they had not even noticed the absence of the feature. That was because they were not fond of using the app freezer. I did not stop there; I went on to research online to see how other users of the same phone were coping with it, and I found many dissatisfied comments and rants about the removal of such a useful feature in a phone like this.
This is one feature I would really like to see reintroduced in the upcoming releases of this phone series. I know the manufacturers have their reasons for removing certain features, just the same way Apple had its reasons for not including a charger in its latest iPhone releases. But come to think of it—what could be the reason for such decisions? These features they remove are loved and needed by most of us who have grown fond of them...I can't even imagine myself to buy a phone without charger😂
Let me tell you, when I found out that my phone does not have an app freezer, I went to the Google Play Store to download an app freezer, but to my surprise, it did not work. I then tried downloading the APK file, and it was still the same. This means that not only was the app freezer feature removed, but the phone does not support it at all.
I know someone reading this might be curious about the importance of an app freezer on a phone. While it may not matter to a lot of people, it matters a lot to me. I use it to control my app usage, especially when I find myself getting addicted to certain apps or becoming easily distracted.
The phone I used before this, which was an Infinix phone, had the app freezer, and it helped me significantly in reducing my Facebook addiction. I placed the app in the app freezer and was determined not to unfreeze it, which really helped me stay away from unnecessary distractions.
The funny and surprising thing about phone companies is that once they remove a feature from a phone, it is very hard for them to bring it back. I wish it were possible to have this feature reinstated in future releases.
Currently, my phone series has already reached the 14 series, yet the feature has not been reintroduced. I hope it makes a comeback in the 15 series.
Thanks for reading!
This is my entry to Digi-prompts of the week.
