If I had the cure for cancer

When I came across the question, “Would I be willing to avail myself for an experiment to find a cure for cancer that could heal the world if the cure is found in me?”, I quickly kicked against it and wanted to write about my "NO" to it in this article. But then I paused and thought to myself, “What if it's just experiments and not that I’ll die in the process—wouldn’t I accept that?” I would! Why? Read on.
This article may appear unreasonable to you, but from my point of view, it's doable by me and I’ll get rich from it.
Cancer is one of the diseases the world is still struggling to find a permanent cure for, and imagine if a cure is hidden in my genes and the whole world is depending on me. Gosh! I’m definitely going to milk out generational wealth from that gift.
The world, as it currently is, is very tough. Everyone is looking for means to survive, and I’m not excluded. These days, people no longer care what they do to make money—some kill, rob, prostitute themselves, or even get into politics to make money. These ones I mentioned are things I can’t see myself doing. Yes, even politics too. Some people even go as far as selling some of their body parts, like a kidney, to make money.
So if I see an opportunity like this, whereby I’ll be heavily and continuously paid, plus gain recognition to my name when I finally leave the earth, I would hop on it, as long as I’m going to live my life even while undergoing the experiments. I mean, as long as the experiment won't affect my well-being.
Yes, that’ll be the agreement from the start, and professionals (medical personnel) will handle the process, not quacks. Again, as long as the experiments do not disturb my well-being, I don't have a problem with that. Let it be a situation where all I need to do is enter the theatre, let them do their thing, and when they’re done, I’ll be set free—and ready to answer their call again whenever they need me.
If it’s going to keep me in the theatre with medical machines plugged into my system for the remaining days of my life, there’s no way I’ll agree to that. Let the world continue to seek help until they find another cure for cancer. I wasn’t born to be Jesus Christ. But if it’s a situation where I’ll be very fine during and after the experiment, and be set free to live my life—with trillions of Kuwait dropping into my account per second of the day, all the days of my life—of course, I’d do it. I'll be the modern day Jesus Christ for the world.
Thanks for reading.
