I really give it to whoever came up with this prompt, that person must really be a genius. I mean thinking about a decentralized financial system and how that system would thrive alone is mind blowing. A lot of people might not fully be able to grasp the whole essence of this type of system and that includes me because I only understand to a limited degree. But even to the degree I understand, I know how much a lot of things would change. This change will affect the things we do, the policies that will be set up, and also expose a lot of secret government affairs knowing everything is now trackable and snakes won't be able to swallow the money allocated for government projects like they do in my country. A decentralized financial system doesn't just make life easier, it brings about accountability in every sector of our financial life.
SOME FEW CHANGES
One of the changes I see happening is in the production of fake currencies. And even though sent alerts can be forged, it can't be valid because every transaction opened would have a transportation hash which can be seen in the blockchain so if it is not seen, it is definitely fake. This automatically reduces theft in this area of finance and although more creative ways would be implemented in the future, for now I don't see people making such petty scams anymore.

Another change will be the end of government lies. A centralized system has made government officials steal money and lie about the use. They tell you they are fixing roads and then you find out that it's only two roads that were fixed but money was collected for 20. With a new decentralized financial system, citizens will be able to track the money spent and every single place it was transferred to. This is due to the transparency of the decentralized system bringing the thieves to book. I know a lot of people will fall for this trap in the beginning stages of such implementation, but it will be a very good one at the end of the day making people cautious about what they do with money. Companies can be probed, in fact everyone can be probed bringing about justice.
Another change that will occur is in the amount a person can own. Centralized systems put limits on everything, but a decentralized system would be the answer. No need to have multiple accounts, no one would know your true worth. Maybe laws can be put in place to checkmate how much a person can spend at a time, and how much a person can swap at a time just in order to maybe Keep the coin market cap at a controllable level.
This however would raise the question of how much a decentralized system can be trusted, knowing a coin can crumble if an individual decides that. However, this is something that can be worked on just like everything the government tries to fix and spoil. I feel a decentralized system would be of immense benefits, but I doubt if it's something that would be implemented knowing that the government likes to be in control.
