This photograph I'm bringing you is of this water fountain located on the Malecón 2000 in the city of Guayaquil. I like that because it's in black and white, you can see the water droplets better, and there are many shadows from the trees in the background. I think it's beautiful.

Today was a quiet, normal day. I went downtown to do some shopping, so I took the bus to my destination. In my city, this mode of transportation is actually somewhat dangerous, as crime has increased under the current government, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to take a photo.

This is the recording of an incredible conversation I had. Children change us, and we must be strong women to deal with everything that comes with raising children, especially when we don't have the father's support. Fortunately, my children are grown now, and the youngest is about to turn 16, so I'm happy that despite everything, I haven't given up and I'm still moving forward.
