I don’t think you’ve fully stepped into minimalism as a lifestyle if you have not, even once, thought about the prospects of being with less. And that too in a very practical way. It’s not just about saying you could thrive with less, but walking through, step by step, how possible and practicable your life would be.

I guess this would have been pretty easy to talk about if it weren't added that we could also talk about dead people. Oops, where are my manners? Hello, amazing ladies. Trust every one of you is in peachy shape. So, the Ladies of Hive Community has asked another beautiful question this week which I’ll be answering.

I think this is the most excited I’ve been about a month in a while. It almost...it almost reminds me of January 1st. A new year with set goals, big dreams, and a thrill that may or may not die after the first two weeks. The month of June is starting with that kind of thrill for me, and I wonder why.

Let me tell you a bit about my yesterday. As many of you already know, I’m studying for my Law degree. In my Faculty, there are four chambers, and everyone gets the chance to be inducted into one. I got inducted into one as well, and yesterday, my chamber won a moot competition that had subsisted for a week, winning the case against the opposing chamber, winning the entire mock trial, and also producing the best speaker of the tournament. A triple win for my chambers.

“I fear we may have made a mistake, guys.” I couldn’t make my terror if I tried. It didn’t help that the dark clouds overhead cast an eerie glow in the studio. We sat hunched together, rubbing our arms and casting frantic looks at one another while thunder boomed mercilessly above us. It was just like the night when we hatched the plot. But tonight felt different. Something was going to happen to us. Something bad. I could feel it.

Everyone experiences change in some form. The things that made you happy when you were five, inarguably, became difference once you turned thirteen, changed again when you turned sixteen and again when you turned twenty, and so on. The things that excited you then may still be the same at your core now, but you would agree that there are significant changes now.
