Hello Little Girl,Last time I wrote to you, I said you were almost a toddler.Well, since then we’ve officially decided that you are indeed a toddler. You did something funny that babies do not do: you picked up an empty bucket, put it over your head, and stumbled around blind like a goof.
It was a very active Easter weekend, chasing small children around on bikes, on foot, in pools, etc. There was laughter, tears, dancing, messes, hiccups, scrapes, burps, the works!Back to normal-ish life tomorrow.Stay healthy friends.
Okay, it’s been a little while since the last Nug Blog. And when you wait that long between them, a lot changes! That’s because you’re growing up very quickly at this age.You are almost a toddler. I don’t think we can still call you a baby either (although we still do sometimes). You are constantly talking in your own language, and we understand a lot of it. You say many, many words really well, like “apple” or “wash” or “all done.”
Twas a Daddy-Daughter day, which translates into a many a walk on a slow Sunday. It was bright and crisp, and we did a few neighborhood circuits. Walking in the field, swinging on some swings. Pretty idyllic stuff.Step fuel included falafel balls and greens for dinner—pretty filling!
Another workout in the books today. I think it’s number four in the current habit train I’m trying to build up. Committing to 30 mins over my lunch hour seems to be a good fit.In step fuel news, I’ve had a vegetarian streak for the last four meals. Not planned or anything, just the way things have shaken out.
Quick check in today. Lots of walking in the morning then afternoon earned me the steps. Workout isn’t going to be doable again until Friday so getting them in feels good!Soreness from the workouts is coming down too. Only takes a few I find, before that big time DOMS subsides.
