The Farmboy quickly went out and checked on them. We were relieved no one was hurt, only a dent and a broken headlight. At first, the driver explained his brakes didn't work, it turned out he was new to driving and got nervous. Understandable, but we did remind him to be extra careful. He apologized for the inconvenience, thanked us, and drove away.
Road accidents are a common concern these days. Some are due to the negligence of the drivers, others blame it on mechanical failures. No matter how careful you are, you can still get in trouble when others are reckless, with some resulting in the tragic loss of people's lives.
Just last week, a car fell into a river about half a kilometer from here. People say the driver and his companions were drunk, and they let a young man who was not accustomed to the road take the wheel. Thankfully, everyone was okay. I hope they will stay sober from now on, unless they don't value their second chance at life.🙏
Anyway, 'nuff of that before my blood starts to boil, lol!
The crypto market had a bit of a surprise yesterday when Bitcoin moved, breaking the 100k barrier once more, and now hovering above it. Some are celebrating, and others whose assets were liquidated are mourning. It's almost funny (not so) to read posts saying they are leaving the crypto space because they got rekt from margin trading. But I am quite certain they will still play afterward.
How things go from here, only those who know know.
Meanwhile, it's the weekend, and before we get sidetracked on excitements, politics, real-life plans, and stuff, let us first revisit our goals and how the numbers fared during the week.
