Fur Mom to Yongi (the Lil Guy); A wife, a friend, and an accomplice to the Farmboy

Magandang buhay! Some (or most) would probably stay indoors after the April Fool's fall, but not my mum. So we spent the whole of yesterday in the greenhouse-in-the-making. They finally let me out after keeping me indoors in the previous days. I was excited and kept running, jumping, and sniffing. When I got exhausted, I just slumped on the dirt. Mum laughed heartily while taking a picture of me, so I gave her a blank face.
Hello, April! It's a day late to welcome you, but you probably know I'm always thankful for each new day.Well, your first was not exactly what I imagined it would be. Some of it, anyway. Like finding myself on the ground when seconds before, I was 2.5 meters above it. That brought me lots of laughter, as well as pain and bruises that I will be nursing for a while. Thankfully, no bones were broken — only sore shoulders and legs, mostly blue from the impact of the fall.
A rainy Tuesday morning in DD. Although I love sunny days, the cool atmosphere makes me want to stay cozily wrapped in bed. But I'm more excited about finishing the greenhouse, so sorry for that lazy thought. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the Farmboy and Mr. S were having chismis about some lady they encountered on their trip to the city. Sometimes, I find it funny when men gossip, lol! They did give me an idea for today's three tunes, so I'm thanking them from the bottom of my heart.
Yesterday afternoon was spent in the mini-greenhouse we are building in the backyard. There, I read an amusing story (fable) within a story that made me laugh to my heart's content as it revealed one profound truth after another about how most of us respond (or react) to changes that occur in our lives. I was guilty of them, eh!
Once upon an October morning, she left the hospital room and walked to the parking grounds where her car was. The air was cold, and the neighborhood was too quiet. At half past six, she was surprised there wasn't anyone around. "Hmmm... people in this place are late risers, huh!" she thought as she strolled further on the steep downhill road.
Magandang buhay! The other day, I received an offer for a position at a dialysis center, which my sister and her partners are opening soon. The package was enticing, with travel incentives and such. After thinking about it for a little while, I politely declined. Returning to the 9-5 lifestyle is the farthest thing in my mind. I may enjoy it for a while, but not for long.
