Fur Mom to Yongi (the Lil Guy); A wife, a friend, and an accomplice to the Farmboy
Lil Kingdom, DD, Up There
A test result disheartened me just around midday, so before succumbing to a pity party, I went out of the house, leaving the LilGuy playing in the living room. While the street down the property is usually empty and quiet, my feet led me to the rugged path leading up the hill. It seemed the best place to pacify my broken heart and spirit.
Hola, world! We were having a laid-back Thursday in DD, not that we had nothing to do, but with the restriction (from most activities and chores) still in place, I couldn't do much, really. It's been almost 4 weeks, and I'm starting to feel some boredom. Thankfully, I have the LilGuy to play with, lol!
Magandang buhay! It's another gorgeous day in DD. The rain visited us last night, so yay! The air is now cooler, and the earth smells fresher. And we are taking advantage of it, because why not?We are going for an hour's drive to check on my FIL (father-in-law) in the next town. It's been a week since our last visit. Second, we need to pick up some deliveries at my sister's place, and yes, buy groceries too. But before that, let me just flaunt some hunts I had some time ago on the other side of the region.馃榿
Hola world!Gee! It's so hot here, it feels like 40-ish degrees Celsius, as if it is the peak of summer. While I love sunny days, it's hard to breathe today with this super duper hotness, lol!But we are having a good time and enjoying some cool vibes in the house, thanks to Anh Tri Le for his guitar magic. And because it's Tuesday, let me share three of his fingerstyle covers of some popular songs, for the TTT initiative by Ablaze.
Magandang buhay! It's a gorgeous Monday in DD - blue skies, plenty of sunshine, a little breeze, and except for the faint sound of tractors in the distance, it is generally quiet around here. Wanting to get my dose of vitamin D at 9 in the morning, I spent some minutes with my plants, the beans specifically. Yesterday, one of the boys hung his jacket over the plant, and I had to remove it quickly or the flowers would wilt.
I had my face washed and my feet too. Well, Mum did, and she blow-dried them a bit. We hopped onto the bed when Dada came. He said I would not sleep with them that night. I couldn't believe my ears, and I gave him that "are you serious" look.
