Hello, April

Hello, April!
It's a day late to welcome you, but you probably know I'm always thankful for each new day.
Well, your first was not exactly what I imagined it would be. Some of it, anyway. Like finding myself on the ground when seconds before, I was 2.5 meters above it. That brought me lots of laughter, as well as pain and bruises that I will be nursing for a while. Thankfully, no bones were broken — only sore shoulders and legs, mostly blue from the impact of the fall.
It frightened the hubby so much that he did not know what to do — whether to pick me up or remove the crates off my thighs. Funnily enough, he was in a similar position when we started the project last week. At least he was just about three feet above the ground.
I was at the top rung on the ladder, installing the netting over the greenhouse, when suddenly boom! I lost balance and found myself tumbling down with the pile of crates while desperately trying to grab on to something.
So much for a DIY project😂
But yes, nothing serious, only bruised legs and ego, LOL! Of course, accidents like that would not deter us from doing things we know we can do ourselves. Building something with our own hands from the ground up makes us feel more alive and gives us inexplicable satisfaction and joy. The ouch-es, wounds, and calluses are embellishments, part of the experiences, making the journey even more memorable.
One day, we would laugh even more when we look back and remember landing on our arses or smashing our fingers or hands with the hammer.
April, we have more things planned to be accomplished in your midst, so please be gentle with us, okay? Thank you, and here's to the next four weeks of fun, adventure, and more projects!🍻🥂
Yours truly,
FG
