Magandang buhay!
With the mid-term election just a month away, many politicians are taking every opportunity to make themselves known to the public through various schemes of campaigning. Tarpaulins and flyers in different sizes and colors hang almost everywhere — along the streets, in balconies of houses, on electric or cable posts, on cars and trucks, etcetera.
Some installed loudspeakers and microphones in vehicles that roam around the streets playing pre-recorded campaign messages, promising new programs, and such. This method is quite annoying as the loud and repetitive sounds disturb the tranquility in the neighborhood. A few days ago, the husband was irritated when a car pulled over the roadside just below our house and kept the recordings playing for half an hour.
In other places, some candidates distribute packs of maintenance drugs with their faces printed on a card along with the words "free medicine from __________ (their names and the office they are running for). Smart? Creative?
Geez! It's hilarious and infuriating at the same time. I mean, yikes! It's just crazy how far some crocs would go to win. I am not looking forward to voting, but thinking about it, my vote may help make a difference. Some folks say, "Receive those things, but remember NOT to give them your votes when election comes." Wicked but okay, lol!
Well, 'nuff of that. I don't wish my blood pressure to shoot up on a lovely Saturday morning😊 Ooossaa...
It's goal time instead!
Week 14 went quite well, and we welcomed the second quarter with high hopes, although the crypto market is not being nice, especially to those whose trades are going the opposite of what they expected or getting liquidated. It sucks when things don't go our way but such is life. We can learn from our mistakes and get tougher over time.
Meanwhile, I'm still keeping on with my saving and stacking. The numbers are growing slowly and nicely.
