Alive & Thriving ThankfulThursday : Happy May Day 🌼|| AATYr6 || Prompt A Day 😊

Hello month of May! It's now the fifth month of 2025. Wow how fast time flies indeed! 😮 Did you know it's election season here? That's for next week but I'm not excited at all. 😒 For my afternoon walk, I went out to buy myself some bread. Since the DALI Grocery is not too far from the bakeshop, I went to stop there first for some treats for myself.

I waited till I crossed the street and turned around to take a photo of the grocery. Well, according to Google maps it's located 350m from my home. It's not that far but it feels like it due to my mobility challenge. 😅 That would have been an easy walk back in the good ole days.

I loved The Little Prince. I've read it three different times at different stages in my life. This is my favorite quote from the book, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." Kindness is one of those invisible things you do not see but can feel deeply. I'd say the world needs more kindness, so let us all do our part in spreading more of it around.

Labor Day -- a holiday really but we got work today. Since I work from home anyway, it's no issue. I practically do pretty much the same thing anyway. 😂 Well, the weather bureau here issued another heat index warning for today. Thankfully, it was not totally bad where I am. I'm still 🙏 for rain showers 🌧.

The weekend is almost here. Can't wait. I've been wanting to go to the cinema to watch Thunderbolts* movie. Between now and then, I need to recharge and reserve my energy though. 😅 Updates when I finally get to see it. Here's to wishing you another wonderful weekend. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
