Happy FriYAY 🎉 I'm totally glad that it's another day closer to the weekend. Here I was looking forward to cooler weather but then I read this...Heat index likely to peak in May – PAGASAAs if it's not hot enough already, today on record was the hottest room temperature I got at 38C. 😒 No fun to be living in this flat anymore. 🤔 So, my afternoon walking exercise continues. It has become more as a necessity esp. in this season. 🙄

My #aliveandthriving Year 6 journey begins today. 🎉 For me, it's a new cycle now. I'm not at the best place but I'm doing my best to be optimistic. I suppose the saying fake it till you make it applies right now. 😅 It's a regular hot day again. I sent my monthly laundry to the neighborhood laundry shop via pick up service. I'm glad I checked out SUDS Laundry since they opened up in my neighborhood. Not perfect but pretty reliable service is something to be grateful for indeed. 🙌

Happy midweek 🎉 Today marks the completion of my fifth year since I joined the #iamalivechallenge back in the days when Erik first started the challenge. Since then we've seen many folks come and go. I'd say it's pretty sad at times but then I suppose that's life. We all have 3D offline lives too. Sometimes they get in the way of our online activities. 😆 Around a year or so after the challenge was started, I moved forward from #iamalivechallenge to #aliveandthriving. The journey has not been easy these past few years. That's just life -- it happens. For what purpose, I really don't know. I just keep moving forward one day at a time. In some ways, there's beauty in seeing life unfold. 🤔 I try not to think too far out into the future anymore as there are a lot of things beyond my control. For now, what works for me is I focus on my road to wellness. One task at a time.

Well, what do you know? Countdown to the end of April has begun. It's also back to work today after my somewhat long weekend. 😝 I'd say it was a pretty good break, although I have not finished working on my postcards to send out. 😒 I chose to do some cleaning instead, so I had to postpone it.

Unamused, that's me today as neighbor goes back to work and I lose quiet and privacy. Oh well. It is what it is. I did have quite a productive morning as I worked on cleaning the bookcase. It bothers me daily to see it so dusty. I've done it partially, but I can take my time and continue on the task for another day. What's important is I got started. Believe it or not, it's more fulfilling for me to do my own cleaning as I do have a connection with all the books in my collection. It's not just my collection but also my daughter's as she's growing up. It's like a trip down memory lane. 😌
