Alive & Thriving Caturday : Off Day Is Here & Kitty Feature || AATYr5 || Prompt A Day 😊

It's finally my day off. After work, I took time out to walk to the neighborhood pharmacy / mini grocery for some needed purchases. I usually plan this a day or two in advance. It's empowering to do my own purchases really. Plus, I did another experiment and paid via local digital wallet. I find this helpful esp. if I don't have enough cash on hand.

This store is not too far, plus I get to save on transportation expenses. It's not a lot of steps and I find it manageable. 😊 I keep my purchase list pretty short too so I wouldn't have trouble bringing my shopping bags home.

The feeling of welcoming my day off never grows old. I'm excited to have a one day rest from work. 😂 I don't need to go out tomorrow. I hope my cleaning assistant is well enough for cleaning Sunday. The electric fans are pretty dusty now. They do need cleaning esp. now it's summer.

I'm all for peace to make this world a better place. Imagine if there would not be any more wars anywhere in the world. Would that even be possible? Perhaps not as long as a select few groups are making tons of money from pushing for war. 🙁 #prayforpeace 🙏❤️💡

I'll feature Grumpy another time as she does have a longer story. Tonight I will feature her best friend Midnight. They're cousins (Grumpy is Mini's kitten & Midnight is Mowe's kitten).

Midnight loved staying on plant pots. For me, she's the muse of the garden. I've loved this kitty ever since she's a kitten. Ironically, till the end, she's a wild cat that I never got to tame. She never considered coming indoors at all.

Two years and a month. It broke my heart when I lost Midnight. I also bought a black cat plushie to remember her. Yes, I did have her remains aquamated. Plus she'll always be around as she's got a plant pot with her name.

Ironically, that plant died but the pot has been replanted with a different plant now. It's my first indoor plant. I do plan to grow my little indoor garden. Right now, I'm trying to learn the ropes on making it work (despite the hot conditions inside).

What a trip down memory lane featuring the kitties that have gone. They will always be remembered and loved. 💞

Two days and counting. Yup, the month is really ending. Good-bye March, you've been heartbreaking, so when you're gone I'm not crying. 😝 Are your goals ready for April? I will be reviewing mine to accommodate what needs to be done. For now taking my time to enjoy whatever is left of the month.

It's a wrap today. I'm going to do a bit of escaping tonight and enjoy my marathon. I think I can sleep a little longer and wake up just a little later than usual. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
