Hi Everyone,Hope you're well and pushing through the difficult quarantine situation (if you're in an affected area) in a way that works best for your and your family.It's been exciting to see the community response to the takeover has lead to the creation of a whole new blockchain and platform. Things went downhill so fast, it was hard for me to keep up with. I never would've guess that this would be the end result of the situation and I'm totally amazed that it's all happened so quickly and elegantly.

I was geeking a bit, not just cause we had @yabapmatt @aggroed and @andrarchy in the house to talk about the latest haps with @splinters and Steemit, but also because Matt got us some these awesome #SteemPhilly tshirts! I love the logo @nateaguila made us and seeing it on a shirt, gave me a big smile.

Hey Steemian peoples, hope you're doing great for the new year.It's been a hot minute since we've had a Steem meetup in here in Philly town, so we decided to get back to business for 2019! And it's looking good for the start of the year as we've got our good friend and champion of the people @yabapmatt of @Steemmonsters fame sponsoring the meetup with a new center city venue.

Dance music and hiphop, DJ's and DJ culture have been an important part of my life for decades. I've promoted for dozens of nightclubs, gone to hundreds of events, seen and heard probably over 1,000 DJs, promoted and run my own events, and worked as a professional DJ for number of years. In recent times it's something I've not had the focus for, but in my heart it's never too far away.
