As we celebrate our 5th anniversary as Hive and are approaching a decade as a community we continue to push the boundaries of blockchain possibilities and technical excellence. Over the years through dedication, ingenuity and perseverance, the Hive community has built a true beacon of Web3. The Hive ecosystem is a vibrant embodiment of decentralization and accessibility and it is all of us here on Hive who have collectively made it happen.

Today on International Women's Day we would like to wholeheartedly congratulate all the women on Hive and in Web3 on shaping the future of this technology. Your innovation on Hive showed the world what true decentralization and forward-thinking looks like!

As another year of Hive comes to a close, we want to take some time and reflect on the achievements and milestones of our ecosystem of dapps and our individual community members. We'll spare you the technical jargon of another year of Hive blockchain development (not to worry, we won't forget to share this separately) as we celebrate!

It's that time of the year again to reflect and share what made our year together interesting, inspiring, perhaps even challenging, but generally outright awesome.

Mazer (@mazergaming) first joined Hive in 2020 and recently celebrated its 4 year anniversary on Hive. Many of you will remember how we started our partnership with a charitable e-sports tournaments in benefit of ZERO Cancer at that time. Today will mark opening day of the Blockchain Rio conference, held at the Expo Mag Convention Center in beautiful Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Our team of community members @arlettemsalase, @jonsnow1983, @starkerz, @edmundochauran and @disregardfiat are there on site representing Hive.
