With a string of new releases coming out at once, I put Absolute Superman's sixth issue aside for a few days to read some other things as well as get outside a little more. I almost forgot about it given I had read almost everything else that had recently been released. Only to discover I still hadn't read it today. This story is one that I've seen many people talk about and consider to be one of their least favourite stories so far within the Absolute stories. Though I've actually rather enjoyed it so far with how it has been unfolding, with some really beautiful art as well as a story that has hardly even focused on the Superman character himself. Rather some of the backstory of the Krypton world and how it had been mined to death, the panic and desperation in its few surviving civilians to escape the planet and move elsewhere. This sent Kal to Earth, and that's where the story had ended previously. But we had also seen some parts of his adult life already, elements of his character that showed sheer anger, a really brutal pursuit of his enemies that left destruction in his path, though people only ever had good things to say about him in the end. A man that had been brutal to those who deserved it, and kind and protective of the innocent. I liked this setup so far, showing mostly scenes of the past and very little of the present.

Growing up, I was a gentle and easygoing kid. I never spoke much outside, unless it was with close friends. It was a different story when I was at home with my parents and siblings. I talked freely with them. Unlike my brother, I did not go out often and always adhered to the rules. However, things changed when I entered high school. My parents decided that boarding school would be best for me, so they opted for it, although I never liked the idea. Things changed differently when I returned from boarding school after my first year. My mom thinks boarding school changed me, while my dad thinks I grew up- puberty got the better of me. Whether it was boarding school or puberty, the fact remains that I changed completely. The sweet and easygoing boy who used to listen with clear eyes and obey instructions now became someone whoād get angry and yell over every slight irritation. I started frowning almost every time- a habit my mom hated most.
his is how I can describe The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint. A book that obviously, depending on the reader's age, will have one or another understanding, which will also vary according to the context, knowledge, feeling and emotion of the moment.
Love is one of the most written and used words in history (I donāt have to do a fact check on that, do I?). As you can see, I just said that without even confirming how true it is, it was just a wide estimation. I said so because a lot of persons are still in doubt if truly that word āloveā exists that they had to even make it be either true love, fake love or just love, lol. Having this in mind, I was not really surprised when I saw a book written about love and it just piqued my interest. THE RULES OF LOVE by Richard Templar.
I took a long break after reading Leila S Chudori's novel entitled 'Laut Bercerita'. For me, it is very difficult to continue reading books with heavy topics like Leila's books. I read several genres before finally deciding to continue with Leila S Chudori's fairy tale. This book still has the same theme as 'Laut Bercerita' which takes place during the New Order era. If in the book 'My Name is the Sea' it takes place around 1965, in the book 'Pulang' Leila takes the story of the 1998 riots from the perspective of people who lived during the terrifying era of 1965. What a brilliant! Leila combines two similar stories in one book and I really like the way she tells the story.
Funny how the title alone already had me intrigued. Only Big Bumbum Matters Tomorrow? Talk about clickbait that hooks. But when I actually dived into the book by Damilare Kuku, I realized this wasnāt just another dramatic title, itās a full-on mirror reflecting everything about femininity and body dysmorphia.

Hello fellow readers! Today I would like to tell you about those books that I've been putting off reading for a long time and I know I'm going to love them because they contain everything I like. This year I decided to read the pending ones and I've already started with some of them, the last review I uploaded is of a book I wanted to read for a long time and here I bring you 3 other options that I'm sure you know because they are the books of the moment more or less.
What is Hive Book Club?
Hive Book Club is a community made by book lovers, for book lovers. A place where the chaotic minds of writers may punch away words from their keyboards as they share their writing adventures. Where passionate book collectors may rummage through their stacks of books to share and review their latest additions. Outside of our regular curation process, we may create contests for our community to participate in, and earn even more from their posts. If you have a certain theme for a future contest you would like to see, let us know! Be sure to check with us frequently on our various social media platforms to avoid missing out!
How Do We Choose The Highlighted Posts?
For those of you curious as to how you may have been chosen or would like to be chosen in the future in one of these compilations: we scan through the community and read the many posts that the community members write. We then select four or five posts that we believe meet certain criteria and are worthy of sharing with the rest of the community. We aim to keep these selections diverse in style, from writing skills or subject matter.
Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually handpick the posts. Some factors include the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort. If we choose you, or you happen to stumble across these highlights, please do check out the other posts we feature, and contribute to their curation and engagement!
We also have a Discord server! Be sure to join it to stay up-to-date with the latest events, and communicate with our community! [Hive Book Club Server](https://discord.gg/dkBdNdfJrM)
