Isn't it intriguing how a book can evoke such strong emotions toward its protagonist that you find yourself both frustrated and utterly captivated? Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole is precisely that kind of novel. I don’t know what I was expecting when I first started this book but perhaps because I just finished reading the Percy Jackson series and Fourth Wing, I was somehow subconsciously expecting a book with a magical main character who is driven by their sole purpose.

Have you seen the K-drama "Uncanny Counter"? If you haven't, let this review be the conviction you need to go check it out, it has Season 1 and 2.First off, here’s the gist: the story talks about a group of demon hunters called Counters who disguise themselves as noodle shop workers. A limping teenager, grumpy Unni (young lady), an ahjumma (elderly lady) and an ahjussi (elderly man). Their job is to take down evil spirits that possess humans and commit unspeakable crimes. Simple enough, right? Except nothing in this series is ever that simple.

These questions have made me rethink my entire life, lol. Watching it play before me from the beginning to the present so that I may find the right answers, talk about such interesting questions.LOH 228If you could live in the world of any movie, which one would it be?"
