I didn’t do anything for Mother’s Day. Not because I forgot my mother. But because… I genuinely didn’t know the day had come and gone. The Mother's Day I kept in mind was May 30th, so imagine my surprise. I’m not proud of that though, but I won’t beat myself up either. There's another Mother’s Day coming up on the 30th of May, and I plan to do something special then. Maybe a small gift, maybe a sweet status post with a caption that says the things I don’t always say out loud. Mother's Day or not, my mum is a beautiful woman who deserves to be celebrated every day.

Hello friends! A beautiful morning to you all. I hope your day has started on a soft note. Mine started with a mini fan blowing directly into my face 😅 and honestly, that’s not surprising. It’s what you get when you move from a usually cold location to one that’s basically best friends with the heat of the land. But it’s alright. One of the wonders of the human body is that, once again, it’ll adjust. So yeah, I guess we can say my morning is starting on a soft-ish note.

Lately, I’ve found myself unable to keep up with any of the new K-dramas airing. And trust me, I’ve tried. But most of them either feel too repetitive or just plain mundane.Back in the day, we watched K-dramas for the mushy-mushy feels, the kind of romance that only exists in books, or for the fantasy so beautifully wrapped up in the storytelling and OSTs. Oh gosh, the OSTs. I can still sing “Almost Paradise” from Boys Over Flowers from start to finish. Or how about the songs from You're Beautiful, Heartstrings, and Goblin: The Great and Lonely God?
