This post is dedicated to the mountains visible from North India's most beautiful valley, Solang Valley. Solang Valley is named after the last village of this valley, this village is Solang village which is located at the base of Patalsu Peak. At an altitude of 2450 meters, this valley looks like a TV, standing in front of which you find yourself in the lap of the mountain.
The Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar mountain ranges meet in Solang and the Beas River is born from the womb of this confluence. The origin of the Beas River is Beas Lake which is located at an altitude of about 3600 meters. From here, mountaineers set out to conquer the 7 high peaks of this valley.
At the same time, a basic mountaineering course is also organized in this part of the valley, where every year thousands of trainee mountaineers complete the course and start their journey to the high mountains. I go to this valley twice a year and even after going there twice, I am not satisfied, I feel like running away from the noise of the city again.
I have explored places like Mount Patalsu Peak, Friendship Peak, Anjani Mahadev Temple, Kothi Top, Bhrigu Lake and Beas Lake in this valley. This place is better only before or after monsoon, otherwise it rains so much that you can even get swept away in a cloudburst.
This is my entry for #monomad challenge.
