Black Rocks, White Snow, and a Heart Full of Awe

I don't like to make mountains black and white, but when I see the snow-covered mountains under the dark clouds, it seems as if nature has sent all the colors on leave. All the mountains appear black and white under the shadow of the dark clouds. Here, white snow is spread on the peaks, whereas where there is no snow, the black color of the mountain rocks is emerging and making its presence felt.

This place is Rudranath Mountains, which is at 3600 meters, these 360 ​​degree mountains are visible from a Hindu temple located in the Himalayas of India. A very captivating view is seen from here, if I talk about these mountains, then from here one can see more than 100 mountain peaks. My luck was not so good because almost all the peaks were covered by dark clouds.

Above the tree line, there is grass here and there is snow on the ground at some places. It is not the winter season, but there is unseasonal snowfall in the Himalayas. Signs of sudden snowfall are visible all around. I am trying to protect my nose from the cold wind blowing here while the extremely cold wind coming from the snowy mountains is engulfing me again and again.

Sitting at Punar Bugyal which is situated at a height of 3200 meters, I am admiring this beautiful view. I have a chocolate in my hand which I had bought from Gopeshwar market so that I can eat it whenever I feel hungry during the trek. I had not thought that I would get a chance to eat chocolate at such a wonderful place.

Nanda Devi, Trishul Peak, Chaukhambha Mountain, Nanda Ghunti, Hathi Mountain, Bandarpunch Peak, Kala Patthar Mountain, Gangotri Peak, Bhagirathi Peak, Johni Lee Mountain, Gauri Peak and Kamet Peaks are shining. Seeing the mountains and being here makes me feel alive. From here I can also see my favorite peak named Nanda Devi. Did you like this scene too?
