Last night I finished correcting chapter 8 out of 10. I still have to finish part of chapter 9 (the final, mini story arc, in which each character, 4 in total, has their own dedicated subchapter, which connect into a whole) and write 1, but these are details. Why? Because the critical fragments of the unfinished subchapter are ready. Apart from one, but I have the idea written down, the research has been done, I talked about the topic with Karol and all I need to do is combine the notes, add the rest and it's done. The first chapter, on the other hand, will be pure pleasure, because it will have the atmosphere of High School Musical / an introduction to Battle Shounen, like Dragon Ball, Superman and other titles based on superhuman fights.
I came up with this idea when I was finishing writing the first book. I needed something to fill my head, so as not to stress over the break between writing and serious corrections. Driving to work in the morning, I listened to anime music, thinking about how to connect the loose thoughts in my head. At some point I had an epiphany. Since then, I've thrown out some of the ideas, but the most important framework of the story remains, but more on that later.
I haven't received any responses from potential publishers regarding the 1st book, but I assume that this is due to the excess of sex scenes. The book is available on WatPad. The main topic of the 1st book was the work and life of an exclusive prostitute. Following the words of Janusz Palikot, which I often quote, I decided to focus on a controversial topic that I know well. And research and conversations with colleagues who are also interested in this only confirmed it. It wasn't a perfect book and Karol and I have different ideas about what might not have worked. We will definitely cut the excess sex (there wasn't much of it, 10-20% per chapter), I will probably significantly modify a few chapters in the middle, where too little happens. However, I don't regret starting with Laura. As my partner said, I make fewer mistakes, I have more experience, which is why I'm doing better. And above all, Ania is much more demanding. In the case of Laura, I had to do research on prostitution, psychology, the specifics of their work, talk to different colleagues, hormonal issues, venereal diseases. In the case of the book about Ania, I learned a lot about physics, chemistry, astronomy, endometriosis, physiognomy. I also have to take into account other aspects - e.g. the history of the universe, events on the timeline, its consistent management, fight choreography and more.
When writing the second book, I was guided by two points: to use the topic that I have been interested in since I was a child (Superman, Dragon Ball, anime and movies of that type) and to do something that would be far from sex. To prove to the unbelievers who do not believe that I did not fulfill my fantasies when writing Laura. I wanted to convey the life of an escort as best as possible. In the second case, I focused on completely different topics. Ania not only suffers from endometriosis, but is also a Catholic. Not a fanatic, but she goes to church regularly, watches Chinese cartoons, tries not to sin, but does not have a stick up her ass and sometimes throws meat (but at the same time does not abuse it - I use vulgarities to emphasize emotions). Karol is a religious Catholic, so I have an easier time in this matter.
For obvious reasons, I do not want to reveal the plot, but I can tell you what is there. Brutal fights, duels of minds, some choreography (I used Asia as a mannequin a few times XD), training, working on myself, a universe beyond Earth, various powers, philosophical and social debates between Ania and her companion who comes from another planet. Initially, I had the story planned for 3 volumes, but I gave myself more freedom to possibly develop this story. Laura was too tight and I had limited possibilities to add new things that came to my mind while writing.
At the moment I have ideas for 4 volumes, I'm thinking about 5. I already have the continuation in my head. A week after finishing work on the first volume (so in max 2 weeks) I'm starting to write it. I'll be working alternately on this one and Laura.
Considering that the concept of the book has changed a bit (initially Ania was much stronger, but she had to be nerfed because it clashed with other plots), I don't know yet how to describe her powers, her power level (how she presents herself in relation to other characters). I mean, I know, but how do I tell it to Karol - the proofreader, my partner who helps me with women's matters or my friends. I'm not able to explain it now without prior preparation and thought. I hope that this time I will succeed.

Wczoraj wieczorem skończyłem poprawiać 8 rozdział z 10. Co prawda muszę jeszcze dokończyć część 9 rozdziału (finałowy, mini story arc, w którym każdy bohater, łącznie 4, ma swój dedykowany podrozdział, które łączą się w całość) oraz napisać 1, ale to są detale. Czemu? Bo krytyczne fragmenty niedokończonego podrozdziału są gotowe. Poza jednym, ale pomysł mam rozpisany, research został wykonany, przegadałem temat z Karolem i wystarczy tylko połączyć notatki, dopisać resztę i gotowe. Pierwszy rozdział natomiast to będzie czysta przyjemność, bo będzie miał klimat High School Musical / wstępu do Battle Shounena, jak Dragon Ball, Superman i inne tytuły opierające się na walkach nadludzi.
Wpadłem na ten pomysł, gdy kończyłem pisać pierwszą książkę. Potrzebowałem czegoś do zapchania głowy, by nie stresować się przerwą między pisaniem, a poważnymi korektami. Jadąc rano do pracy, słuchałem muzyki z anime, myślałem jak połączyć luźne myśli w mojej głowie. W pewnym momencie doznałem olśnienia. Od tamtego czasu, wyrzuciłem część pomysłów, ale najważniejsze ramy historii zostały, ale o tym później.
Nie dostałem odpowiedzi od potencjalnych wydawców ws. 1 książki, ale zakładam że wynika to z nadmiaru scen seksu. Książka jest dostępna na WatPad. Tematem przewodnim 1 książki była praca i życie ekskluzywnej prostytutki. Kierując się słowami Janusza Palikota, które często cytuję, postawiłem na kontrowersyjny temat, który dobrze znam. A research i rozmowy z kolegami, którzy też się tym interesują, tylko to potwierdziły. Nie była to książka idealna i mamy z Karolem różne pomysły na to, co mogło nie zadziałać. Na pewno utniemy nadmiar seksu (nie było go bardzo dużo 10-20% na rozdział), pewnie znacząco zmodyfikuję kilka rozdziałów ze środka, w których zbyt mało się dzieje. Nie żałuję jednak, że zacząłem od Laury. Jak powiedziała moja partnerka, popełniam mniej błędów, mam więcej doświadczenia, przez co idzie mi lepiej. No i przede wszystkim Ania jest dużo bardziej wymagająca. W przypadku Laury, musiałem robić research ws. prostytucji, psychologii, specyfiki ich pracy, rozmawiać z różnymi koleżankami, kwestie hormonalne, choroby weneryczne. W przypadku książki o Ani, dowiedziałem się wielu rzeczy o fizyce, chemii, astronomii, endometriozie, fizjonomii. Muszę też uwzględniać inne aspekty - np. historia uniwersum, wydarzenia na osi czasu, konsekwentne jej prowadzenie, choreografia walk i nie tylko.
Pisząc drugą książkę, kierowałem się dwoma punktami: wykorzystać temat, którym żyję od dziecka (Superman, Dragon Ball, anime i filmy tego typu) oraz zrobić coś, co będzie daleko od seksu. By udowodnić niedowiarkom, którzy nie wierzą, że nie realizowałem swoich fantazji pisząc Laurę. Zależało mi na tym, by jak najlepiej oddać życie escort. W drugim przypadku postawiłem na zupełnie inne tematy. Ania nie tylko choruje na endometriozę, ale jest też katoliczką. Nie fanatyczną, ale chodzi regularnie do kościoła, ogląda chińskie bajki, stara się nie grzeszyć, ale nie ma kija w dupie i zdarza jej się rzucić mięsem (ale jednocześnie nie nadużywa tego - stosuję wulgaryzmy jako podkreślenie emocji). Karol jest wierzącym katolikiem, więc mam łatwiej w tej kwestii.
Z oczywistych względów nie chcę zdradzać fabuły, ale mogę powiedzieć co tam jest. Brutalne walki, pojedynki umysłów, jakaś choreografia (parę razy wykorzystałem Asię jako manekin XD), trening, praca nad sobą, uniwersum wykraczające poza Ziemię, różne moce, debaty filozoficzno społeczne między Anią, a jej towarzyszem, który pochodzi z innej planety. Początkowo miałem rozplanowaną historię na 3 tomy, ale dałem sobie większą swobodę na możliwe rozwinięcie tej historii. Laura była zbyt ściśnięta i miałem ograniczone możliwości z dodawaniem nowych rzeczy, które wpadły mi do głowy podczas pisania. Na ten moment mam pomysły na 4 tomy, myślę nad 5. Kontynuację mam już całą w głowie. Tydzień po zakończeniu pracy nad 1 tomem (czyli za max 2 tygodnie) zaczynam go pisać. Będę pracował na zmianę przy tym i przy Laurze.
Z uwagi na to, że koncepcja książki trochę się zmieniła (początkowo Ania była znacznie silniejsza, ale trzeba było jej dać pewnego nerfa, bo kolidowało to z innymi wątkami), jeszcze nie wiem jak opisać jej moce, poziom mocy (jak się prezentuje względem innych postaci). W sensie wiem, ale jak opowiadam to Karolowi - korektorowi, mojej partnerce, która pomaga mi przy damskich sprawach lub przyjaciołom. Nie jestem w stanie wytłumaczyć tego teraz bez wcześniejszego przygotowania i przemyślenia. Mam nadzieję, że tym razem mi się uda.
