Today, I watched a video that I wish I could unsee. Two ladies shared their experience of molestation.

Saying "No" isn't pride it's just setting boundaries.
The one that got me so traumatised is the second lady that said the molester came to her house and carried out the act.
And he did that to make her feel worthless because he has made advances to her and she refuses giving him attention. And that became the trigger.
He didn’t just violate her body. He violated her safety. Her peace. Her home. And then — as if cruelty wasn’t enough, he sent her a message confessing. Almost proudly. Almost as if he wanted her to know that rejecting him had consequences.
When did a woman’s refusal become a threat to a man’s ego?
When did “I’m not interested” become punishable?
What shook me the most wasn’t just the crime. It was his confidence. The audacity to tell her she would will never find justice because she was poor. As if money determines dignity. As if silence can be bought.
Typing this makes me feel so sad, I wish I have some kind of supper powers.
I remember back then in school my friend and I where being harassed on the road by some notorious cultists. For complete one hour this guys refuses to let us go.
It was on a broad day light nobody came to our rescue, nobody stopped them. That was when I realised how fucked up we were in this country. It was terrifying.
The system has failed to protect us, it's a failed system that money can buy just anything.
A woman saying no is not disrespectful, it's not pride, it's not challenge, it's boundary. And boundaries are not crimes.
I pray justice finds her.
