In this post, I wanted to share the "PANDASTIC" decoration on one of the metro lines with cute and charming giant pandas decorations for passengers and tourists.They decorated the cabins because the twin panda cubs were born in August 2024. Since February 2025, the twin cubs have been open to the public in Ocean Park Hong Kong, an animal theme park. The giant pandas are the main attractions in this place; tourists make long queues to see them while the pandas eat bamboo sticks.

In this post, I want to share pictures of my visit to the Hong Kong Flower Show 2025.This event is held yearly around March in Vitoria Park and is organized by the Leisure and Culture Services Department. More than 200 local and overseas organizations can display their flower decorations or show some flowers originating in their country.

During the new year, I have been crossing the border to Shenzhen city because I wanted to see how they are trialling a new system in the checkpoint area using face recognition instead of checking your passport or Chinese ID card with immigration officers.

Today, I want to share the photos I took during the pyrotechnic display around the West Kowloon Cultural District on Christmas Eve. I have mentioned before that if you want a good spot, you must go early in the afternoon because people start to occupy the good places from 3:00 onwards. I arrived there around 4:30 after work and was lucky to find a good spot.

Today is Christmas Eve, and I saw another nice Christmas decoration in a shopping mall. The name of this shopping mall is IFC(International Finance Centre) Mall, located in Central Hong Kong.It is so interesting how the city is vibrant with Christmas, especially for kids, because they enjoy this festivity more than adults and expect their Christmas gifts.

During my last weekend, I went to see one of the best Christmas decorations in one of the local malls; the name of this mall is Pacific Place Mall, located in Admiralty, where there is a Christmas decoration named 'ChristmasVille', where there are many lovely furry monster decorations. What caught my attention was the giant furry decoration knitting a sock, but I don't know what kind of animal it is. It resembles a mix of the cat in the hat with cow heat.
