Following on from this Tuesday's Tip about Gluten and if we really are allergic, for Friday's Focus, I thought about focusing on switching out gluten containing ingredients this long weekend for non-gluten containing ingredients 👏🌾

So instead of cooking with pasta - try using rice (long grain is better than white rice) or introducing quinoa into a recipe.
Instead of eating something with bread, perhaps swap for rice crackers or oat cakes?
Quinoa is a personal favorite of mine, with there being numerous health benefits:
Gluten-free; high in protein (containing all nine essential amino acids); high in fiber; magnesium; B vitamins; iron; potassium; calcium...the list of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants goes on!
