WEEK 7 of The Weekly Hive Garden Question 🌳🌿A Story of a Tree... 10 May

2025-05-10T02:01:00
Welcome to Week 7 of the Hive Garden Question! Last week we had some lovely responses from people who shared their places they sit in their garden - we get busy gardening and forget we are there to sit and enjoy it as well!
You should read this beautiful poem by @maiasun84 - it really captured a lovely essence of contemplation. In gratitude for this gift, we're dedicated 20 percent of the post proceeds to her, so if you liked it, please give this post an upvote and go follow here too!

Floods

Suddenly the afternoon has settled,
the rain falls, and I come to life.
It is the green wetland where I drown, illusion for the forgetful fish.
A small stream, stamped before my eyes with impossible traces of some fire,
full is the current, which in the play
of the season, has sown itself among leaves.
Where will all this rain go?
The drop at my root lies down and burns,
a mirage of the kiss that pours down.
The fatal trace of another destiny changes through a baptism of clouds that in the afternoon
describe my path with water.
This week we have a question we are looking forward to seeing answers to, and we just know everyone has a story of a tree. We hope you drop in when you can and create responses for all of us to enjoy, and don't forget to engage with others in the community.
Looking forward to hearing your stories!

This Week's Question/s

🌳 Do you have a tree in your garden that has a story? Maybe it was planted for a special occasion or has been there for generations. It could even be in your parent's garden, a park or a forest near you.

`🌳 Perhaps you don't just have one tree - maybe it's a forest, a plantation, or your own endeavours at planting lots of trees that you want to write about?
