We would never have imagined that those who have been here for years would have the courage to step forward and ask for help. Primarily because human beings like the freedom to choose, but that has an implicit cost: bad decisions without guidance. I don't know where it has come from that we are considered a mentor or a reference. We have not worked for that, but to deliver value to our venture called HIVE. And the reason for someone's only concern about their progression here is that they are stagnant. Now to reach such a conclusion, the exercise of introspection has been of such magnitude that -probably- he has cast aside his pride and will give himself to the adventure of experiencing the way of others. It is to the latter that these words are addressed. If you feel stuck and have come clean with yourself, you have already taken the biggest step. What follows will help you to grow. However, if your capacity for sacrifice is small or you are not willing to pay the price of success, I suggest you do not bother to continue reading. It would be unfair to yourself.
The reputation and the value of an account are never measured by the rewards obtained (the latter is only a consequence of your actions in the chain), both factors are perceived by the amount of value added to our blockchain. Here it is extremely important to highlight something. If you do not know how to “sell” your work through publications, it will be very difficult for you to scale. Study those who have time publishing about the contributions to HIVE and write in your report the actions or what you consider to be key points of added value. Forget banal posts like *“I attended such-and-such event and took a picture with this hiver ”* That is not work for the chain. That does not add value. One of the sacrifices you have to make is to give without receiving anything in return. Partners in any company do not thank each other, they acknowledge each other. That recognition is tied to the firm conviction and perception of their genuine effort. Many of the problems of today's hivers, who have not grown, are due to the belief that they have the right to be paid before they act. That's not how you build an empire. It is achieved by sacrificing and giving work without expecting returns. It is the only way to be valued.
It is very different to be a salaried employee than to be an owner. And until you click your attitude on the first premise, forget about growing exponentially as you wish. The second key is to be aware of EVERY project to come. Something that is always missing in the chain is people who can translate technical discourse into language that can be understood by those who do not make a living in Web3. This is the only way to close the adoption gap. Thus, project managers are always looking for help. The problem happens when those who want to help, first ask how much do I get paid? If you are stingy in partnership, then the revenue will be stingy with you. Keeping an eye on projects or informing others of your views on any topic will help you grow. But you have to be willing to put your neck on the line. You will NEVER get 100% agreement. It's impossible. But you will always be able to collect similar thoughts to yours if your approaches are sensible and at least 3/4 of the hivers are aligned with you. And if the majority disagrees, then it is up to you to get rid of your fear and defend your views with arguments. Until you are willing to face the fear of what others think, it will be very difficult for you to grow.
The value scale of contributions to the chain is subjective. Another incredibly childish mistake is to compare yourself with others. If you have your eyebrows set on growth, take action, execute, leave theory and false promises aside. Follow up on your work. There is no other way. In 2023 I started working towards becoming a digital content writer at CoinTelegraph and CryptoTrend. It took us 2.5 years. But we made it based on QUALITY networking. Many hivers have the misconception that making “friends” at events and keeping an eye out for “merch” has value. Well, another trifle to erase from the notebook. Make solid contacts that scale. Again, execute. Invest. Locate the truly key people and interact with them. You will see the miracles you can achieve. Be prepared with the conviction to dazzle in those moments of exchange. You have little time, and so do those people. Don't waste opportunities for valuable encounters. Yes, it's important to share with other hivers, but it's about you and your growth. If you grow, so does our community. Any questions you want to ask regarding the topic, please post them in the comments. I read them.
