A Couple in Love and Their Gentle Horse _ monomad daily chalenge

After our photoshoot at the Ghaljogh stone quarry with this lovely couple, we continued the session in a quiet garden nearby. The garden was full of tall trees, winding paths, and best of all, a beautiful and calm horse that belonged to the property owner.
Bringing the horse into our session gave the photos a unique and memorable feel.
It added character and depth to the frames—and helped the couple feel more grounded and at ease.
Of course, the setting came with its own challenges. The light was constantly shifting, with sunlight filtering through the leaves and changing every time the wind moved. I had to work quickly and adapt my camera settings on the fly to keep the lighting balanced and consistent.
Working with a horse also required extra care. Horses can be unpredictable, especially in outdoor environments. I had to make sure the couple felt safe, the horse was comfortable, and the interaction between all three of them looked natural. Thankfully, this horse was incredibly calm, and its peaceful presence made everything easier.
The woman’s floral dress and straw hat were a perfect match for the garden setting. The way her dress moved with the breeze brought life into the still photos. Every step she took, every glance shared between the couple—it all felt effortless.
At one point, I captured two solo portraits of her.
In one, she glanced back over her shoulder, her expression calm and confident. It was one of those frames where the subject wasn’t posing—it just happened naturally, and that’s what made it so strong.
In the other photo, she was walking, letting the wind play with her dress. The soft motion of the fabric, the dappled light, and the peaceful forest around her created a scene that felt both cinematic and deeply real.
This session reminded me why I love what I do. When everything comes together—location, light, emotion, and trust—you don’t just take pictures. You capture something lasting.
I hope these photos bring you as much joy as I felt while taking them. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
