In spring, everything blooms the same way. Surely bird cherry trees can bloom in some other way?
The same dandelions, the same green grass...only it may differ in time – a little earlier or a little later.
Summer can be rainy or hot, but it will look like all other summers.
In autumn, the leaves turn yellow the same way. Although there are still differences to be found this season.
For example, last autumn was very red.
And here's winter...if it is snowless, then it is very noticeable.
If the winter is snowy or frosty, then the pictures will also clearly indicate this.
...Maybe I've over-hyped the manifestations of winter?
Maybe this winter just seemed too multifaceted to me, and that's why I judge all winters this way?
To be honest, I sometimes get confused about the years when I look at spring or summer pictures.
They are very similar in weather. You can only distinguish at once some vivid event that is ingrained in your memory.
And if people are shown summer pictures of different years, they won't be able to tell which year is in which photo.
If you show mountains made of snowdrifts, then there will already be a clear link to some kind of snowy year.
And if you look at the details, identify the epoch, then it will be easy to guess the year.
It seems like these mountains won't melt until summer, but in fact, everything will disappear quickly.
I seem to have already said this, but I repeat once again: the structure of the snow is very loose and the snowdrifts will quickly settle with warming.
This information was confirmed by forecasters, who said that there would be no severe flooding.
I also think that blizzard snow is not very dense and its layers are more airy.
In addition, there was not a single thaw throughout the winter, so no ice layers formed.
But it was absolutely necessary to capture such snowdrifts!
I went around several neighborhoods to cover as many plots and locations as possible.
It still remains to reflect this topic in the daytime with people through everyday life.
I was worried that I wouldn't find an interesting approach to shooting snowdrifts.
But it turned out that I had captured so many of them all winter that it couldn't be more diverse.
And you don't need to approach them – it's better to just document them as a fact.
