Hope everyone in the northern hemisphere is having a fantastic summer! And to those ’down under’, have a great fake winter. Our summer here close to the Arctic Circle has been absolutely amazing, 25°C on most days for over a month now, it’s just perfect. For us this dry heat of over 25 degrees is HOT, I’ve even had the aircon on for some evenings so it’s not too hot to sleep comfortably. We don’t even have much mosquitos this year because the start of the summer was so hot and dry.

Long time coming and now all of Finland is complaining about how hot it is. Complaining about the weather is truly a national sport.It hasn’t rained in weeks which is almost abnormal in Finland, we even had to water outside plants!

Seven full years on Ste…Hive! How insane is that!?On the surface-level in 2017 when I first started showing up on Hive I was brunette, skinnier and often void of clothing in my online presense, hence the name Eve Uncovered.

Nature drives (bad translations from a finnish word we use for this) are an essential part of life when I’m visiting homehome. Dad says ”get in the car, there is ____ to see”, and you must say yes because it always pays off.

While I was in the countryside for Mother’s Day, I took the opportunity to dig for treasures. I was under the impression that most if not all antiques that were not inside the house were already taken by someone so it was a pleasant surprise to find some nice things.

A wool sweater for summer? Yes, absolutely necessary on these latitudes. Mom was visiting me and asked if I could knit her a sweater if she buys the yarn and of course I said yes. Though mom has special privilages and I will not make her pay for the yarn, besides, Mother’s day is approaching fast.
