¡Hola Chicos!

El día de las madres para mi no es una fecha tan importante, pues aunque soy madre no me llama mucho la atención celebrar estas fechas que son tan comerciales. Creo que uno puede celebrarlo cualquier día del año sin necesidad de dejarse llevar por la corriente.

Adicional a esto, la relación que llevo con mi mamá no es la mejor y no ha sido por mi culpa, sino que ella siempre ha tenido otras prioridades en la vida y sus hijos claramente no están incluídos ahí.

Han sido mucho los malos momentos que he vivido con ella, que no vale la pena nombrarlos, y he aprendido a vivir sin su presencia.

Ella actualmente no está en el país, lo que ha fortalecido aún más el distanciamiento y la verdad es que ya no me afecta. Yo soy feliz con mi familia que son mi esposo y mi hijo y con su amor me basta y me sobra.

Todo lo que he aprendido en mi adolescencia y vida adulta ha sido gracias a mi esfuerzo propio y luego gracias al apoyo de mi esposo. Siento que si debo celebrar este día es por tener la dicha de ser mamá y tener un hijo tan hermoso. ♥

Mother's Day for me is not such an important date, because although I am a mother, I don't really like to celebrate these dates that are so commercial. I think you can celebrate it any day of the year without having to go with the flow.

In addition to this, the relationship I have with my mother is not the best and it has not been my fault, but she has always had other priorities in life and her children are clearly not included there.

There have been many bad moments that I have lived through with her, which are not worth naming, and I have learned to live without her presence.

She is currently not in the country, which has further strengthened the estrangement and the truth is that it no longer affects me. I am happy with my family, my husband and my son, and their love is enough for me.

Everything I have learned in my adolescence and adult life has been thanks to my own effort and then thanks to the support of my husband. I feel that if I should celebrate this day it is for having the joy of being a mom and having such a beautiful son. ♥

El día de las madres cae domingo y yo tengo dos turnos de clases por las mañanas. Días antes les escribí a todos los representantes para informarles que iba a darles clases a los niños y en ese momento la mayoría me confirmó así que decidí continuar con el plan.

Había planeado con mi hijo dar un paseo por la playa luego de dar clases ya que habíamos encontrado días antes unas cositas bastante curiosas y quedamos con ganas de hacer un recorrido para seguir en la búsqueda del tesoro.

Así que despertamos bien temprano y ya a las 8 estábamos en la avenida esperando el transporte. Por suerte esto no demoró mucho tiempo y pudimos llegar a tiempo a nuestro destino.

Mother's Day falls on Sunday and I have two shifts of classes in the mornings. Days before I wrote to all the representatives to inform them that I was going to give classes to the children and at that moment most of them confirmed me so I decided to go ahead with the plan.

I had planned with my son to take a walk on the beach after the classes since we had found some curious things a few days before and we wanted to take a tour to continue the treasure hunt.

So we woke up very early and at 8 o'clock we were already on the avenue waiting for transportation. Luckily this did not take long and we were able to arrive on time to our destination.

Llegamos con tiempo de sobra así que aproveché de dar una miradita por el balcón del centro comercial. Era súper loco pues habían muchos negocios abiertos, casi parecía un día normal.

Pasa que los días domingo el centro de la ciudad es un lugar súper solitario y el ver tanta gente era una cosa nueva para mi. Ya estoy acostumbrada a la paz y soledad que ofrecen las mañanas durante mis clases de fin de semana.

En ese momento solo se me vino a la mente la frase "siempre dejamos todo para último momento" y es que efectivamente la mayoría de las personas estaban haciendo compras de última hora para mamá. Por eso les digo que el día de las madres es una fecha súper comercial, que aunque está bien porque las personas lo toman como un día para conmemorar a sus madres, siento que esto pueden hacerlo cualquier día del año.

We arrived with plenty of time to spare so I took the opportunity to look around the balcony of the mall. It was super crazy because there were many businesses open, it almost seemed like a normal day.

It happens that on Sundays the center of the city is a very lonely place and seeing so many people was something new for me. I am already used to the peace and solitude that the mornings offer during my weekend classes.

At that moment the phrase “we always leave everything to the last minute” came to my mind and indeed most of the people were doing last minute shopping for mom. That's why I tell them that Mother's Day is a super commercial date, that although it is fine because people take it as a day to commemorate their mothers, I feel that this can be done any day of the year.

Ya luego comenzamos las clases y para mi sorpresa solo fueron 4 alumnas de las 8 que tengo normalmente ese día. Al menos fue la mitad y valió la pena el viaje. jaja

Una de ellas me regaló un ponquecito hermoso decorado con corazones rosa ♥

Estaba muy sabroso, este nos lo comimos de camino a la orilla de la playa.

Then we started classes and to my surprise there were only 4 students out of the 8 that I normally have that day. At least it was half and it was worth the trip. haha.

One of them gave me a beautiful cupcake decorated with pink hearts.

It was very tasty, my son and I ate it on the way to the beach.

Luego de nuestro paseo por la orilla, volvimos a la zona donde se encuentra el local para tomar el transporte de regreso a casa. Como ya era medio día yo me sentía algo débil, así que le dije a mi hijo para comprar un jugo y así tomar un poco de fuerzas para aguantar hasta llegar a la casa y comer.

En realidad me hubiera gustado comer con él en la calle, pero aún estamos estabilizándonos económicamente, así que preferí invertir en un rico almuerzo casero.

Ya cuando tomamos el transporte mi hijo se quedó dormido jaja quedaba cansado por haber despertado temprano y por el recorrido en la playa.

Fue lindo compartir este día con él, llevarlo al trabajo y que pueda verme en acción. ♥

After our walk along the shore, we returned to the area where the store is located to take the shuttle back home. Since it was already noon I was feeling a little weak, so I told my son to buy some juice to get some strength to last until we got home and ate.

Actually I would have liked to eat with him in the street, but we are still stabilizing economically, so I preferred to invest in a nice homemade lunch.

When we took the bus my son fell asleep haha he was tired because he woke up early and because of the trip to the beach.

It was nice to share this day with him, take him to work and let him see me in action. ♥
