This month I decided to focus more on trading, so long walks just for the sake of walking were excluded. Walking has a lot of benefits, I know, but you can't have it all and I think I made the right decision and results are proving that. However, there has to be a balance between work and leisure, fresh air is a must if you want your brain to function at the highest level possible, so yesterday morning I went for a walk to my most precious place.

It's spring in my country, nature is starting to wake up, even if some rain and cold is expected towards the end of the week. This was not a simple walk, never is, as I had some plans, to take photos for one, but also to have a look around at a specific place, which could be gold for me and I wasn't wrong at all in this regard, but more about that later, as it's a topic for a whole post.
Sleeping in is nice and I'd like to so it sometimes, but unfortunately I wake up early, no matter how late I go to bed and this time I wanted to leave early, to avoid the crowd. The place is for everyone, families, kids, elders, but the quality of time you spend there depends on who's attending and what they do. We get out dose of noise on a daily bases, so I for one, would enjoy some quiet time at least once a week and this is why I preferred to leave early.
One of the things I love to photograph each year is buds of any kind, it means spring for me, the first sign of spring basically and the texture of the little leaves or petals is not something you want to miss.

Look at that crispy look the outer leaves have, how can you not like it?
Violets along with snowdrops are the symbol of spring and while snowdrops are not everywhere anymore unfortunately (it has become a protected species now), violets are like a blue carpet in parks and at the side of the roads. I was tempted to pick a few, but decided not to.

These wild cherry blossoms are next in line, after snowdrops and violets and to my surprise, I was able to find several trees already blossoming.
What I was really looking for was the wild apple trees, which have dark pink flowers and look absolutely amazing when blossoming, even for the biggest pink hater, that I am. Unfortunately, it's not time yet for these pink beauties, so I'll need to go back towards the end of the week. Now fingers crossed that history doesn't repeat and the spring rain and wind that is coming, won't destroy my fun. A couple of years ago, we got strong wind, which is very rare here and rain and all the petals were on the ground next day.
Golden shower, as we call it, is like the queen of spring, but unfortunately, it looks nice from far and far from nice when you have a closer look. Regardless, I'd love to have a bush like this in front of my house one day, even if you get like one or two weeks of flowers and it's green for the rest of the seasons. By the way, this is a plant that flowers first and then grows leaves after, not the other way around.

Dandelions! These little and humble beauties are already showing up and it always makes me remember a lady we had on the legacy chain, who used to go foraging and collecting these to eat. She unfortunately is not active anymore, but I had a lot to learn from her. I love people who dare to explore and forage their own food.
I love this photo. Would call it staged by nature. I love the dry leave and the brown stem next to it. Great setup, by nature, as all I did was take the photo.
This was a part of what nature had to offer me yesterday and I was very happy to see these beauties.
Do you have these flowers in your country?
