A bit of a wet start to the day as I trudged around the country lanes in my quest to keep fit. The snowdrops are out, and I'm looking forward to plants coming into bud and having a bit of colour in the hedgerows. It is pretty dull at the moment.

Halfway around, I bumped into a fellow villager. After having a chat about health issues, vitamins, and exercise, I carried on. I think he is on the same page as me. After he had a bit of a health scare, he's realised a brisk walk keeps his blood pressure down.

There was a tiny fungus growing in the top of the wall. It was at an awkward angle to get a good photo, but I did my best.

Returning over the fields, at the very top of the hill is the grave of a farmer. His family has carried on running the farm. From his grave there are lovely views over the fields.

There were sheep in the next field. Even though they were far away, I could see there's always one sheep looking to see what I'm doing. It was time to go home.
