As promised, here is part 2 to the adventures yesterday at Stoney Ridge Farm! There were many displays of pumpkins and things to see and do!
Everywhere you turned was another cozy display nestled along side of an outbuilding or beneath a tree.
We went to the eastern side of the farm near where we boarded the tractor ride. There, you could enter the corn 🌽 maze!
It seemed bigger this year than last, with more turns and ways to get lost! We’d pass people and then as we approached another group, we’d all laugh and smile because we kept passing each other over and over!
Being deep in the maze was like another world and when we found ourselves without anyone in sight, I started noticing the corn itself; like this variegated leaf.
Or this interesting ear of corn 🌽
Taking another look inside the food barn, someone got creative with mason jars!
There were 3 such chandeliers inside.
Just outside far enough away was a fire pit to warm yourself and enjoy the ambiance.
We went to pick a few apples….
….and also found this!
It was quite small and delicate.
There were some farm animals as well but I was drawn to Bruce. He’s such a handsome guy!
Stoney Ridge Farm morphs into a Christmas tree farm in late November and into December. Part of the tractor ride meanders around that part, but close to the animals, the baby Christmas trees that won’t be for sale for a few years are right there. I caught @silvertop checking them out!

These guys flew overhead, heading south for the winter.
