Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new post and hope you have a week so far which has brought numerous interesting things into your lives! Today I would like to take you on an artistic travel experience which I made in the Swiss city of Zug and hope you like my contribution.
In Zug I was able to gain some interesting experiences and in addition to my visit to the Crypto Valley or exploring the historical buildings, I visited the art house which is located a little far from the town centre, but can be reached on foot without any problems. The museum has existed for over 30 years and is located in a historic building from the 16th century and inside you can see exhibition rooms which have been furnished in a modern style and in any case it's a unique thing when old influences merge with the modern ones. The collection of the house includes thousands of works of which of course, not all can be exhibited and the highlight of my visit were probably works by the well-known Spanish painter Pablo Picasso (1881 - 1973). It's a collection of etchings by Picasso which are exhibited, all of which were created in just a few months, which highlights his artistic vein very well and the collection can still be visited until about June.
The house of art is open all week except on Monday and costs 15 CHF, although the price may be different for certain groups of people and it is important to know that there are also regular workshops here that can be attended. It's one of the biggest goals of the creators to promote the art scene as much as possible and to offer the most diverse program and there are different projects that have been created especially for these purposes which can help to simplify an exchange between artists or also give the chance to young people to unfold their creativity. The age group does not matter and both young or old young artists are supported by some of these projects and the idea of bringing the art also to other places is probably unique and for this works of the house are also brought to other places with mobile transport options. I liked the visit very much, which is why I would like to give anyone a recommendation and the time needed for the visit amounts to about two hours and in addition to the actual visit, everyone should have these aspects of art promotion on their eyes, which is why I also admire the house additionally.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new! I captured these pictures with my Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.
