Hey dear community, I hope you are all doing well so far and had a great start to the new weekend! In this article I would like to go into history of art and hope you are able to expand your knowledge a bit.To be seen here is an enchanting work of art by the Swiss painter Ferdinand Hodler (1853 - 1918) who depicted the landscape around Lake Geneva in this painting and this work looks very lively and creates a very unique impression on the viewer. Because of certain political attitudes he was later even so strongly attacked that his works were almost banned and in numerous museums or exhibitions some did not want to see his art anymore and he was strongly attacked by other artists and other perople. Although he was under strong pressure during certain times, he can be regarded as one of the most important artists of the 20th century, whi
