Being that it is April already, it is time to get ready for the upcoming Car Show season in New Jersey. On Sunday, April 6th, the Lacey United Methodist Church (located at 203 West Lacey Road in Forked River) will be presenting the "Blessing Of The Vehicles & Spring Dust-off" hosted by jerseyshorecarshows.com. The event runs from 11:00am until 3:00pm and is free to attend or to show off your car, truck or motorcycle. There will be free food and snacks, while supplies last. This is in preparation for the car show that will be held at the church on Saturday, May 10th.
There will be music and an opportunity to learn about the Lacey United Methodist Church. A family event that saw over 70 vehicles displaying their uniqueness last year. There are usually a few car-related vendors at this event. No trophies are handed out at this event. That is reserved for the actual car show the following month. Pastor Jonathan Campbell will go around to all vehicles and drivers and give them a blessing.
