The Descent

Often I find it easier to photograph while on the way down the mountain, or the descent, versus the ascent. I guess you might say, I am more relaxed, after completing the hike up. Feeling like I have accomplished something special. You know that feeling? You also are able to check out the scenery from different vantage points, seemingly a lot different than what you previously saw. Photos taken on the Larch Valley / Minnestimma lakes hike trail, by Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta.
