Hola, amigos entrañables de esta comunidad de #holos-lotus. Vengo, como de costumbre, a leer vuestros posts, a aprender de sus enseñanzas y compartir con ustedes, alguna que otra experiencia que me ha resultado de utilidad, con el deseo de que les resulte provechosa a ustedes también. Acá, en mi Cuba de los apagones, hay un refrán que se ha convertido en una advertencia constante, a la hora de emprender cualquier proyecto, ya sea de índole colectiva o individual; tal refrán reza: "El que mucho abarca, poco aprieta" Y aquí les dejo esta publicación, intentando apretar mucho y abarcar poco, pero lo suficiente como para merecer vuestra atención.
Cuando se habla del fracaso o del retraso en cuanto a alcanzar las metas, los sueños, los objetivos trazados, casi siempre se alude a: la falta de preparación, la insuficiente voluntad, a la escasez de recursos u oportunidad; pero muy pocas veces se habla de la falta de concentración, de enfoque, de una estrategia definida.
Conozco a mucha gente que no ha conseguido alcanzar sus objetivos, porque no supieron centrarse en lo importante ni establecieron prioridades. Recuerdo una ocasión en que participé en un evento acerca del liderazgo. Dicha preparación, hacía énfasis en la estrategia y la concentración.
En una de las sesiones preparatorias, el profesor Timothy, un hombre muy joven con unos conocimientos y un carisma enorme. Entró al salón de conferencias y nos dictó una clase de unos escasos quince minutos, en la que repitió más de quince veces las palabras: objetivos, enfoque y responsabilidad. Sin estas, decía Tim, nunca alcanzaríamos el éxito. Pasados los ya mencionados quince minutos de exposición, nos dijo: basta de charlas, ustedes deben estar saturados de tanta teoría. ¿Qué les parece si nos divertimos un rato? Todos aceptamos con entusiasmo. El profesor sacó de un bolsillo un globo blanco, lo llenó de aire, lo ató y, antes de liberarlo para comenzar el juego, nos pidió con amabilidad: por favor, no pierdan de vista este globo blanco, pues lo voy a necesitar luego. No se preocupe, profesor, dijimos casi a coro e inmediatamente comenzó la diversión.

El globo saltaba de mano en mano. Cada cierto tiempo, el profesor entraba al grupo y soltaba otro globo. Así lo hizo hasta que ya flotaban sobre el grupo, seis o siete globos de distintos colores. Unos veinte minutos duró el entretenimiento. Luego el profesor pidió que nos sentáramos, pues necesitaba terminar su conferencia, y seguidamente nos pidió que le devolviésemos el globo blanco que habíamos prometido cuidar, pero el globo blanco nunca apareció.

Así fracasamos todos; cuando la diversión y la irresponsabilidad toman el lugar del enfoque y la responsabilidad, que son las dos columnas principales para alcanzar nuestros objetivos. Dicho esto, desinfló el globo blanco que él mismo había retirado del juego, delante de nuestras narices, sin que nos diéramos cuenta, y cerró su magistral conferencia con una frase muy breve que aún persiste en mi memoria.
No se trata de cuán grande es tu objetivo, se trata de cuán importante es para ti y cuánto empeño pones en alcanzarlo.
La vergüenza no nos permitió aplaudirle, pero su breve lección ha sido uno de mis patrones de crecimiento personal. A mí me ha servido mucho esta enseñanza y se las comparto, con el ánimo de que a ustedes también les resulte de utilidad. Gracias por leer este post.

And here I leave this publication, trying to tighten a lot and cover a little, but enough to deserve your attention.

When talking about failure or delay in reaching goals, dreams, the objectives set, it is almost always alluded to: the lack of preparation, the insufficient will, the shortage of resources or opportunity; But very rarely there is talk about the lack of concentration, focus, a definite strategy.
I know many people who have failed to achieve their objectives, because they did not know how to focus on the important or established priorities.
I remember an occasion I participated in an event about leadership.This preparation emphasized strategy and concentration.
In one of the preparatory sessions, Professor Timothy, a very young man with huge knowledge and charisma. He entered to the conference hall and gave us a class of a few fifteen minutes, in which he repeated more than fifteen times, the words: objectives, focus and responsibility.Without these, Tim said, we would never achieve success.

After the afore mentioned fifteen minutes of exposure, he told us: Enough of talks, you must be saturated with so much theory.What do you think if we have fun for a while?
We all accept with enthusiasm.
The professor took a white balloon out of a pocket, filled it with air, tied it and, before leting it out to start the game, he asked us with kindness: please, do not lose sight of this white globe, because I will need it later.

Do not worry, teacher, we said almost in chorus and immediately began with the fun.
The balloon jumped from hand to hand. From time to time, the teacher entered the group and let out another balloon.He did so until already floated on the group, six or seven balloons of different colors.
About twenty minutes lasted entertainment.Then the professor asked to sit down, because he needed to finish his conference, and then asked us to return the white balloon that we had promised to take care, but the white globe never appeared.
Thus we all fail;When fun and irresponsibility take the place of approach and responsibility, which are the two main columns to achieve our objectives.
When he said that, he showed the White Globe defled that he had removed from the game, in front of our noses, without us noticing, and closed his masterful conference with a very brief phrase that still persists in my memory.
It is not about how big your goal is, it is about how important it is for you and how much efforts you put in reaching it.
Shame did not allow us to applaud him, but his brief lesson has been one of my personal growth patterns.
This teaching has served me a lot and I share it withyou all, with the mood that you make it also useful.
