A couple of days ago, my dear friend @tengolotodo invited me to share with the Beer Community a beer I've had since I arrived in Colombia a week ago. And yes, I have a beer experience to share. Saturday night, my hubby and I went out for a few beers at a craft beer place in Bogota called Birreria Macha
Last Tuesday night I finally traveled to Bogota to join my husband who has been working here for the past two months. We haven't spent so much time apart in many years, so I'm glad to finally be here. Even though, I had to leave Milo🐱 at home in my mother's care.

I can't believe I haven't written a post at Hive for 40 days, but I think it's time to end this "quarantine". In three years, I haven't spent so much time away from Hive but it was a necessary break. I needed it. I needed to sort out my thoughts and emotions in order to be able to write with peace of mind. The last few weeks have been intense.
The park where I usually walk has been lonely these days.I have not written in Hive for several days. It has been hard for me to break this silence. I have tried several times but what we are living these days in the country does not make it easy for me to think about anything else. I know that it is necessary to take care of our mental health and not let stress take over us. And despite of the worry, the anguish, the pain and the fear, we must not let them take away the hope of a better tomorrow. And we have to relax to keep strong. Music is always a good companion and great for unwind. It is also a perfect excuse to break the silence with a post for #threetunetuesday.
It is hard to think about anything else but this Sunday's elections. These are crucial days for my country. Millions of Venezuelans have mixed emotions. Nervousness, anxiety but above all a lot of hope for a longed-for change of course.
