You might recognize some of the orchids, roses, and daisies I've posted before – they're the same beloved plants, just captured at different times. Unfortunately, the daisies are not blooming right now because the dry season is winding down, and those little sun-worshippers thrive in full sun.

For me, that place is our beach.Growing up in a coastal town, the beach was pretty much our backyard. It was a calm and quiet spot where all you heard was the waves crashing and the wind whistling. We used to spend hours there when we were just kids, just to unwind and hangout with friends and family, feeling completely at peace.

Hello Hive friends!We're in the countryside for the kids' summer break and will be staying for a few weeks. I love the fresh air and green views here. There are no tall buildings or extensive concrete pavements, just nature. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, unlike in the city where it's always on. This morning, the lack of power and internet prompted me to go outside and see my mother's garden.

Hey fellow foodies!How's everyone doing?Things have been a little bit different at our house lately. Last month, my husband wasn't feeling well for over a week and ended up seeing the doctor. After some tests, we found out he has a fatty liver and high cholesterol. The doctor has advised him to cut out rice, white bread, sweets, oily and deep-fried foods, as well as colored and flavored drinks. He'll be going back for another test in July to see if there's been any improvement.
