An old and exhausted quarry near the city of Mednogorsk, Orenburg Region. It is considered the oldest in the region. Its development began in 1935, when a team of geologists found copper ore here. The deposit was developed for a long time, until the mid-70s. At first, mining was carried out underground, adits were dug. Then they began to mine ore in an open way. The color of the water has a pronounced green tint, most likely due to the presence of copper. Moreover, in different weather conditions, the color of the water changes slightly. In clear and sunny weather, it is more delicate. We were not very lucky with the weather, during our visit to the quarry it was raining and a strong wind was blowing.
