Sometimes, while I'm painting, I worry that it might not turn out perfect or as pretty as I imagined. But then I show the child their face in the mirror, and their eyes light up with joy—and that alone makes me happy. For them, it’s always perfect and beautiful. I truly admire the way many children see the world—it’s something so pure and inspiring.
