Making Lavender Lemon Jelly!I've been growing Lavender for 10, 15 years? Something like that. But this yer, was a first for me! I finally made something edible with the lavender I've been growing for more than a decade. this Lavender Lemon Jelly goes great with cream cheese on bagels, served on goat cheese, with crackers! Gardens are in New England, zone 7a and 7b.

Sweet Potato Harvest!THIS IS A FIRST for me! I've never grown Sweet Potato. I usually only eat it, once a year. It's just not my most favorite vegetable. AND, I usually only cook it a few times a year. Typically bigger meals, over winter, and definitely I roast some at Thanksgiving. but again, a bit bland for me.

End of My Growing Season, for 2024WAaaaaay back in February when I first started seeds for this season, this time of year was a very distant thought. At the time, it was excitement and longing for the season to come. I was coming off a couple of months of rest, after last season. I was eagerly sowing seeds.

Planting Garlic Cloves I live in New England, East Coast, US, and we have longer, colder winters. We don't have mild seasons, like California, for instance, where the majority of US Grown Garlic is harvested. That white garlic, from Cali, is typically, softneck garlic. Softneck is both milder, and also, lasts on the shelves, longer. Commercial farmers LOVE that part!

BUILDING a NEW Raised Garden Bed "I NEED MORE!" said EVERY GARDENER EVERYWHERE! Last year, my garlic and onions were grown in Fabric Grow Bags and a small in ground bed. This year, I am tripling the in ground bed area for growing garlic and onions.

** September Garden Tour**Right at the beginning of September, I was both about to get very busy with work, and extremely NOT BUSY! I didn't know it, but COVID was about to hit. I just finished editing, and posting this video. AND I was looking at 3 plus weeks of straight out work in special events.... when I decided to spend 5 days in bed.
