Greetings nature-loving friends, it is a pleasure to share my entry for the contest What do you like about nature?, I appreciate the invitation from my friend @jlufer and I take this opportunity to invite @annafenix and @evelin71 to join this beautiful initiative, I like nature and when I have the opportunity to visit rural areas I make the most of it to observe the flowers, the landscape and especially the mountains, seeing the mountains covered with vegetation is a beautiful setting, also seeing the sunset and sunrise are natural events that I love, for my entry I will emphasize the flowers, which I like for their beautiful and vibrant colors, their aroma, softness of the petals and they are also a beautiful decoration for the garden.
Saludos amigos amantes de la naturaleza es un placer compartir mi entrada para el concurso ¿Qué te gusta de la Naturaleza?, agradezco la invitación del amigo @jlufer y aprovecho la ocasión para invitar a @annafenix y @evelin71 sumarse a esta hermosa iniciativa, me gusta la naturaleza y cuando tengo la oportunidad de visitar espacios rurales la aprovecho al máximo para observar las flores, el paisaje y especialmente las montañas, ver las montañas cubiertas de vegetación es un hermoso escenario, también ver el atardecer y el amanecer son eventos naturales que me encantan para mi entrada haré énfasis en las flores, las cuales me gustan por sus hermosos y vibrantes colores, su aroma, suavidad de los pétalos y son también un hermoso adorno para el jardín.
On a recent visit to the garden, I took the opportunity to take several photographs and noticed that some of the flowers had dried petals, perhaps due to the intense sun or lack of water. Among the flowers were Crown of ChristEuphorbia milii, Capacho Canna indica, IxoraIxora coccinea, among others. One that I really liked was the fuchsia one with a white and yellow center, also the pink one that stands out for its striking pistil, and finally a white flower with a yellow center.
Using these beautiful flowers as a reference, I made several flowers using recycled material (egg carton). The materials used were:
Egg carton
Scissors
Paintbrushes
Cold paint.
Looking closely at the flowers, I realized that the petals are asymmetrical. Normally, when I make crafts, I try to make all the petals the same, but in nature, they are not symmetrical. In fact, no petal is the same as another, and this is what makes flowers unique.
The first step was to cut the egg carton and remove the cells. Then, I made several straight cuts for the petals. With scissors, I rounded the edges until I had a complete set of petals. The number of petals varies for each flower.
En una reciente visita al jardín aproveché para tomar varias fotografías y noté que algunas de las flores tienen los pétalos secos, tal vez debido a la intensidad del sol o falta de agua, entre las flores había corona de Cristo[Euphorbia milii, Capacho Canna indica, Ixora Ixora coccinea, entre otras, una que me gustó mucho fue la de color fucsia con el centro centro blanco y amarillo, también la de color color rosa que resalta por su llamativo pistilo y finalmente una flor de color blanco con el centro amarillo.
Tomando como referencia estas hermosas flores, con material de reciclaje (cartón de huevo) elaboré varias flores, los materiales usados fueron:

Pintura al frío.
Observando detenidamente las flores me di cuenta que los pétalos son asimétricos, regularmente cuando hago manualidades trato de que todos los pétalos queden iguales, pero en la naturaleza no son simétricos, de hecho ningún pétalo es igual al otro y esto es lo que hace que las flores sean únicas.
El primer paso fue cortar el cartón de huevo y sacar las celdas, luego hice varios cortes rectos para los pétalos, con la tijera fui redondeando los bordes hasta tener los pétalos completos, la cantidad de ellos varia en cada flor.
Once the petals were cut, I proceeded to paint them. I used red, yellow, and white paint. For one of the flowers, I mixed yellow and red, and I liked the result. It reminds me of the flirtatious flower. I let it dry for 20 minutes and then added paint to the center. Reusing materials we have at home is a way to take care of the planet and reduce waste. Fabrics are also excellent materials to recycle and create beautiful projects. Leftovers and strips of fabric can be used to:
Stuff cushions
Make bows, pencil cases, pretty flowers, among others. When using scraps for cushions, it is recommended to wash them with vinegar and let them dry for several days.
Cortados los pétalos procedí a pintar, utilicé pintura roja, amarilla y blanca, en una de las flores hice una mezcla de amarillo con rojo y me gustó el resultado, me recuerda a la flor coqueta, dejé secar durante veoiinte minutos y luego agregué pintura en el centro; reutilizar los materiales que tenemos en casa es una forma para cuidar el planeta y reducir la emisión de basura, las telas también son un excelente material para reciclar y crear lindos proyectos, los sobrantes y tiras de tela se pueden usar para:

Hacer moñeras, cartucheras, lindas flores, entre otros, es recomendable al usar retazos en los cojines lavarlos con vinagre y dejar secar por varios días.
In addition to recycling cardboard and fabric, bottles are also a material that can be used a lot, with them you can make flowers and a beautiful flowerpot decorated with butterflies, I liked this project a lot and we did it to commemorate the world day of environmental conservation, it was a nice activity that was assigned to my son at school and I loved the result, it is incredible the amount of crafts that can be done using plastic bottles, in addition to these beautiful flowerpots the children brought chests, jewelry boxes, butterflies, gift boxes, bears and a very beautiful candy box, decorated with hearts, with creativity you can make beautiful works and give a second chance to the materials we have at home, this way you save on material costs and we also take care of the environment.
Además de reciclar cartón y tela, las botellas son también un material que se le puede sacar mucho provecho, con ellas se pueden elaborar flores y un hermoso matero decorado con mariposas, este proyecto me gustó mucho y lo hicimos para conmemorar el día mundial de la conservación del ambiente, fue una linda actividad que le asignaron a mi hijo en la escuela y el resultado me encantó, es increíble la cantidad de trabajos manuales que se pueden hacer usando botellas plásticas, además de estos hermosos materos los niños llevaron cofres, joyeros, mariposas cajas de regalo, osos y una bombonera muy hermosa, decorada con corazones, con creatividad se pueden hacer lindos trabajos y darle una segunda oportunidad a los materiales que tenemos en casa, así se ahorra en costos de material y también cuidamos el ambiente.
