En horas de la noche recibimos noticia del fallecimiento de un alumno a causa de un accidente en motocicleta. El día domingo fue decretado por los niños motorizados como "día de moto pirueta".

Se me hace imposible creer que no se le pueda decir NO a un hijo... Caemos el error de pensar que los hijos son merecedores de todo, le damos los gusto más exagerados y peligrosos a nuestros muchachos o como dicen por ahí, les ponemos la muerte en las manos.
¿Es realmente necesario una moto para un adolescente? ¿Para qué? ¿A cuenta de qué debo dar un regalo como ese?
En algunos casos como el de uno de estos jóvenes involucrados en el accidente se le da la moto porque el chico ha sido rebelde, no terminó los estudios y su violencia ha sido notoria. Seguro habrá muchos casos parecidos a este. Los padres, creyendo que la solución será darle el vehículo para calmarlo pues resultó ser la peor decisión.

Ahora el joven se debate entre la vida y la muerte y la posible mutación de una de sus piernas. Sé claramente que no existe un manual para ser los mejores padres, tampoco tengo intención de juzgar a nadie, es un tema de reflexión y por eso vuelvo a preguntar ¿Hasta dónde llegan nuestros límites como padres?
El famoso Caballito maniobra para levantar la moto en una rueda fue la causa de este terrible suceso donde dos jóvenes colisionan entre sí y uno de ellos fallece.
Nos da dolor conocer este tipo de noticias. Por favor, tomemos consciencia, tomen las riendas de cada situación y entendamos que hay un tema importante en todo esto, el AMOR. La familia debe unirse, debe pasar más tiempo junta, conversar, comer en la mesa, abrazarse, compartir una película, pasar, entre otras cosas.
Los niños y jóvenes de ahora están a merced del celular y ahora las motos. Pasan más tiempo con estos aparatos que con la familia. Hasta cuándo y hasta dónde llegaremos. Imaginemos el cargo de consciencia de esos padres, la culpa que han de estar sintiendo en estos momentos ¿Quién repara este daño?
Una vez más... otra tragedia... otro dolor.... otro padecimiento.
