Greetings to my coffee-loving friends. Once again I am here sharing my new experience in a coffee shop that I always saw from afar, it called my attention but I had never entered.
I went to Amaranto with my sister and niece, usually the three of us always go there. There wasn't much to do on the weekend and we decided to have coffee together and.... it provoked us to eat something as well.
Amaranto is a place not only to have coffee, you can eat, taste a good sweet and even drink alcoholic beverages. With the heat it was hot enough to have a beer, but no, better coffee and a natural juice.
My sister and niece ordered latte, I asked for something more exotic and extravagant, coffee with chocolate and whipped cream. There was not much variety on the menu, just the traditional coffee we all know.
For lunch we ordered crispy chicken, Caesar salad, french fries and the combo we ordered had two soft drinks.
The service in the restaurant is good but the little staff there is slow. It is a large place and perhaps that slows down the waiters' work. We ordered the coffee before the meal and had to wait more than fifteen minutes, the one I ordered took a little longer.
I thought we would taste a hot coffee but it was not, the coffee was more cold than lukewarm. The presentation of the latte was very beautiful, the flirty cup with a bear face attracted a lot of attention but, unfortunately, the coffee did not taste good, of course there was disappointment...
My coffee with chocolate and whipped cream was great, I loved it, I gave it to my niece and sister to try and they didn't think the same, their palates are more demanding than mine hahaha.
As for the food... it didn't meet our expectations either. The presentation was very nice but as for the taste, we expected more. The chicken had a very homemade taste with a strong garlic flavor.
Overall I think we didn't choose the best place this day. If invited again I would surely refuse the offer. For me, only the coffee with cream and chocolate was up to par, the rest ... no words.
Concluding about that place where we hung out I have my particular opinion. From the first moment when there was a delay in the service you could appreciate how busy the staff was. There were people at the tables waiting but everything was late.
That situation is common in these places where there are few workers. They make a great effort to serve and satisfy the customer but, it is understandable that they can only do so much. Less and less staff is hired and everything collapses.
I am not trying in any way to discredit the place, however, there are more negative criticisms than positive ones.

Saludos para los amigos amantes del café. Nuevamente por acá compartiendo mi nueva experiencia en una cafetería que siempre veía desde lejos, me llamaba la atención pero nunca había entrado.
Fui a Amaranto en compañía de mi hermana y sobrina, por lo general siempre vamos las tres. No había mucho que hacer el fin de semana y decidimos tomar café juntas y... nos provocó comer algo también.
Amaranto es un local no solo para tomar café, se puede comer, degustar un buen dulce y hasta consumir bebidas alcohólicas. Con el calor que hacía provocaba una cerveza pero no, mejor café y un jugo natural.
Mi hermana y sobrina pidieron latte, yo pedí algo más exótico y extravagante, café con chocolate y crema chantillí. En el menú no había mucha variedad, solo café tradicional del que todos ya conocemos.
Para almorzar pedimos pollo crispy, ensalada César, papas fritas y el combo que pedimos traía dos refrescos.
La atención en el restaurante es buena pero el poco personal que hay es lento. Es un local grande y quizá eso retarda el trabajo de los meseros. El café lo pedimos antes de la comida y tocó esperar más de quince minutos, el que pedí yo tardó un poco más.
Pensé que degustaríamos un café caliente pero no fue así, el café estaba más frío que tibio. La presentación de los latte muy hermosa, la taza coqueta con cara de oso llamó mucho la atención pero, lastimosamente, el café no tenía buen sabor, por supuesto hubo decepción..
Mi café con chocolate y crema chantillí estuvo genial, me encantó, le di a probar a mi sobrina y hermana y ellas no pensaron lo mismo, sus paladares son más exigente que el mio jajaja.
En cuanto a la comida pues... tampoco cubrió nuestras expectativas. La presentación muy bonita pero en cuanto al sabor, esperábamos más. El pollo tenía un sabor muy casero con fuerte sabor a ajo.
En términos generales creo que en esta oportunidad no escogimos el mejor lugar este día. Si ne invitan nuevamente seguro rechazaría la oferta. Para mi, solo el café con crema y chocolate estuvo a la altura, lo demás... sin palabras.
Concluyendo sobre ese lugar donde pasamos el rato tengo mi opinión particular. Desde el primer momento cuando hubo demora en el servicio se pudo apreciar lo atareado que estaba el personal. Había gente en las mesas esperando pero todo fue tardío.
Esa situación suele ser común en estos lugares donde hay pocos trabajadores. Hacen gran esfuerzo por atender y satisfacer al cliente pero, es de entender que no pueden con tanto. Cada vez se contrata menos personal y todo colapsa.
No trato de ninguna manera desprestigiar el lugar, sin embargo, son más las críticas negativas que positivas.
