I have been having that insane feeling that a huge storm is coming. I could feel it on my skin, and thoughts basically just drift toward it every minute or so. But looking at the weather, who would have thought that the day I had anticipated would come last night?
Oh, it was an interesting night. A wonderful night I'd love to explore again and again as the platter of rain filled my eardrum, and the wind blew aggressively like it was on a mission to lift up the building that sheltered me. In the midst of the storm, all I could do was smile deeply even as thunder roared.
I was fulfilled at that moment and not quite long, I went to "la la land". But before that, my morning was hectic. I woke up a bit late because I wasn't able to sleep the night before. So, my exercise came late as well. After exercise, I showered because of sweat and then began my daily activity.
Since I went out two days ago to have my hair loose, I made an appointment to make a new hair yesterday, so after my morning activity, I went out on a long journey to have my hair done. I also decided to fix my nails but at another place. First, I got my hair done, and after that, I took a walk and then took transit to the bus stop, where I had made an appointment for my nail fixing.
I must confess it was my first time there and I liked her work. She did my nails well, and I can't wait to visit her again a few weeks from now. After fixing my nails, I went to the market to get catfish and other food items. The walk to the market was... well, it was sunny and, as usual, very busy.
When I got home from the market, it was already late, but I made sure to cook before finally taking a rest but not with a plate of home cooked catfish and white rice to go. Before I could blink, it was already nightfall, and I was damn tired of doing anything and then... the rain came. It started with a cool breeze on my skin. I thought I was in the freezer, lol. It has been a little while since my skin felt that way. It was exciting for me, and I was grateful that it aided my sleep.
Tonight, I can feel the wind on my skin again, and I can't wait for the rain that comes after. Ironically, this brings Akon's music to my thoughts. Haha.
I don't know, just vibing to it as the wind caressing my skin just makes me feel damn good.
