Then came the exodus of CD sellers, and everywhere we went there was one.
We would go out shopping, and on the sidewalks there would be displays of the most recent movies.I don't know how they managed to acquire so many new releases at the same time, but movies that hadn't even arrived here in the theater were already for sale. Of course, they were copies, as technology advanced and the devices to copy from an original to a blank CD came onto the market.In some stores they sold the most expensive originals, and of those we acquired a few. The rest of the collection is pure copy.

We became so addicted to movie weekends with the family that we accompanied them with pizzas, hamburgers, cotufas, soft drinks, and whatever goodies we could find.They were movie marathons, because my son would go out and get up to 10 movies in one purchase. Of course, they were very cheap. They even sold CD's with several movies on one CD.

Today we have cable TV with many movie channels, and also subscriptions to Netflix, Max, among others, that allow us to search for the movies we want to see. But there is something that benefits us from having our own movies at home, and that is that many classics have already been removed from the subscriptions, so if that happens, we can watch them whenever we want, and as many times as we want. Of course, if it is in our collection!

Hoy les traigo mi tercera colección para la comunidad de Coleccionistas de Hive, y se trata de algo que ya casi no se usa en estos tiempos, pero que me gusta conservar no sólo como colección, sino para disfrutar de vez en cuando una película de las muchas que compramos en años anteriores. Es divertido romper a menudo los esquemas y usar las cosas bonitas que adquirimos a través de los años.}

_{Se trata de las películas de DVD, y por supuesto, aún conservamos también dos DVD en casa. Uno está guardado, y el otro lo mantengo en su estante para usarlo con una TV que tengo en la cocina.}

_{Luego vino el éxodo de vendedores de CD’s, y por todos lados había uno. Salíamos de compras, y en las aceras había exhibiciones de las películas más recientes. No sé cómo se las arreglaban para adquirir tantos estrenos a la vez, pero películas que ni siquiera habían llegado aquí al cine, ya la tenían a la venta. Obvio, eran copias, ya que la tecnología avanzó y llegaron al mercado los aparatos para copiar de un original a un CD en blanco. En algunas tiendas vendían los originales más costosos, y de esos adquirimos unos pocos. El resto de la colección, es pura copia.}

_{Hoy en día contamos con la TV por cable con muchos canales de películas, y también las suscripciones de Netflix, Max, entre otras, que nos permiten buscar las películas que queremos ver. Pero hay algo que nos beneficia de tener nuestras propias películas en casa, y es que ya muchos clásicos han sido retirados de las suscripciones, por lo que si eso sucede, los podemos ver cuando queramos, y las veces que queramos. ¡Claro, si se encuentra en nuestra colección!}
