You know what? For me, one of those great little wonders that sometimes goes unnoticed is the ability to enlarge images and text on the screen. Before, with my visual impairment, it was a real hassle to see anything clearly on the computer! That made many day-to-day activities a constant challenge, a real effort.
But thanks to the way technology has advanced, today I can access information much more easily and, above all, with more autonomy.
Every time I use the zoom function or any other accessibility tool, I really feel that technology is giving me a hug, it is including me. I don't see them just as cold tools, but as huge doors that open wide for people like me.
And speaking of that, I want to send a huge thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all those amazing people who, with their ingenuity and dedication, have worked tirelessly to make technology more accessible. Your efforts not only improve the lives of so many people, but also allow us to dream and do things with so much more independence.
Thanks to you, today I can read, learn and work without having to depend so much on anyone's help. Every pixel that gets bigger on my screen is one more step towards a much fuller life.
