As a videographer, I love filming concerts. And if I'm interested in the design, ambience and lighting of the concert venue, I actually make time to take a few photos with my camera. Ağaçkakan concert I shot in Istanbul was such a concert :)

Today's #monomad challenge post is about the Dilhan Sesen concert in Istanbul and the photos I took on the way.She is a musician who makes indie/jazz songs, and in this concert she sang her songs with a guitarist featuring her. Most of the songs in her setlist created a strange sense of peace with the soft effect of her vocals. About seventy people came to the concert on the roof of a pub in Kadıköy. In the past, stray dogs in need of help used to be taken to municipal shelters, sterilized and treated, and then released back to the street where they were taken.

Istanbul has a big seagull population because the city is made up of two peninsulas. In the old days, until the 60s and 70s, even pelicans could be seen in the city. Unfortunately, due to our species' negative deterioration of nature, we can only see pelicans in old Istanbul videos. And if you're lucky, you might also see beautiful storks dancing in the air at migration time.
